November 2, 2004
Following the purportedly historic trend across the United States,
Eatonville's only polling place was "busy all day." At 6
p.m. the voting machine had counted 589 ballots from the
Community Center and, according to veteran poll worker Betty Allison
"at least 100 absentee ballots" had been dropped off in town.
Eatonville results should be counted by 9 or 9:30 p.m. according to
Allison. How Eatonville Voted... November 2, 2004
