Fueled by a relentless defensive attack, solid offensive blocking and Devin O'Rourke's season high three touchdowns and 167yards rushing the EHS Cruisers tamed the Sequim Wolves. On the road for the first time this season the Cruisers amassed over 430 yards of offense in this 8-48 victory. After being stopped on the four yard line in their first possession the Cruiser defense put heavy pressure on Sequim's quarterback Kenny Hall. Eatonville's Ian O'Brien intercepted a Hall pass on the Wolves 21 yard line. Four plays later O'Rourke would drive in from the four yard line for the first Cruiser touchdown. David Hamilton's PAT kick was good.
On the second play of the Cruisers third possession Hamilton would tear 81 yards around left end to pay dirt. The PAT kick failed.
Kyle Mettler would score his first of two touchdowns of the night on the next EHS possession. Mettler's one yard sneak and Hamilton's PAT kick gave the Cruisers a 20 point lead early in the second quarter.
With O'Rourke gouging his way through Sequim territory Eatonville moved to the Wolves one yard line. Mettler scampered in from the one to cap off the Cruisers sixth possession of the night.
Late in the second quarter Mettler would intercept Sequim's quarterback to set up the Cruisers fifth scoring drive of the evening. O'Rourke pounded his way in from the one to give the Cruisers a 0-34 half-time lead.
The Cruiser defense hammered away at the Sequim offense all through the night. Russell Reece had a big night with no less than three sacks on Sequim's quarterback. Junior Dennis Struck had an outstanding defensive game with at least two sacks a couple of tackles for losses. Jon Culliton, Jay Iverson, Dylan Vogel were also responsible for many of the Wolves woes.
After a run dominated first half, the Cruisers, though briefly, found their passing game early in the third quarter. Mettler completed three quick passes in Eatonville's second possession of the half as the Cruisers rolled down the field to the Sequim two yard line.  O'Rourke punched it in from there and Hamilton's kick was good.
Sequim mounted a single scoring drive in the fourth quarter. The PAT run was good. With the score 8-41 and just 28 seconds left to play EHS sophomore Blair Haifely found a big hole off tackle and out sprinted 81 yards to his first varsity touchdown. The PAT kick was good.
