Eatonville Police Report

June 29 - A-38 year-old Eatonville man was charged with aiming a weapon and unlawful discharge of a laser. The suspect and one of the victims got into a verbal altercation inside a local bar. The suspect left and, according to the victims, he apparently waited outside for them to leave the bar. As they were walking across the street the suspect approached and the argument started again. As the victims were walking away from the suspect one of them turned around and saw the suspect pointing what was described as a gun equipped with a laser sight at them. The victim yelled and they all turned to see the suspect pointing what they all described as a dark colored handgun with a laser sight at them. They all ran into another local bar where they called 911. The suspect ran from the area and was seen leaving in a light colored pickup truck.
June 30 - A 23-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DWLS and for a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was stopped for defective equipment. A records check showed that his license was suspended and he had a District Court 3 warrant for his arrest. The suspected was arrested and booked into Pierce County jail. The suspect's vehicle was impounded.
July 2 - A 39-year-old Spanaway man was arrested on three felony warrants and three misdemeanor warrants. The suspect was contacted after officers were dispatched to an address in the 43900 block of SR 161 in reference to a vehicle blocking a driveway. A license check using an in car computer showed that the registered owner of the car had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. The suspect was contacted and arrested on the warrants, which included two-felony drug possession charges, one felony charge of possession of stolen property and three for DWLS. A 32-year-old transient who was also in the vehicle was asked to provide her identification. The suspect continued to give false names and information about herself.  When drugs were found she admitted her real name. She was arrested for felony possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, identity theft and obstructing a public servant. Both suspects were booked into the Pierce County jail.
July 2 - An Eatonville man was arrested for MIP. Because of his mental state at the time of his arrest he was involuntarily committed for a mental health condition.
July 3 - Eatonville officers were dispatched to assist PCSO deputies who were chasing a stolen vehicle on the Eatonville Cut Off Rd. Officers deployed a set of stop sticks, which deflated the left front tire of the vehicle. The vehicle finally stopped a short distance away. The suspect was taken into custody. Inside the stolen vehicle were a female passenger and two children.
July 3 - Someone attempted to break into the back door of the Blue Moon Pub.
July 3 - A 39-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had entered her car by opening an unsecured sunroof and removed a CD/cassette player adapter and a cell phone cord.
July 4 - A 47-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for DUI. The suspect was stopped for erratic driving and speeding. When contacted the suspect smelled of intoxicants and appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect agreed to a field sobriety test, which she failed. She was transported to the police department for a breath test. The results were .211 and .202. The suspect was sited and released. Her vehicle was impounded.
July 4 - A 44-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI. The suspect was stopped for erratic driving. When contacted the suspect appeared intoxicated. He agreed to a field sobriety test, which he failed. He was transported to the police department for a breath test. Once at the police department he refused the breath test. He was cited and released. His vehicle was impounded.
July 5 - A 42-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DWLS. An officer saw the suspect driving at the intersection of Washington Ave. and Center St. The officer knew the suspect and knew that his license was suspended. An in car computer check verified his license was suspended. The suspect was stopped and arrested. The suspect was cited and released. His vehicle was impounded.
July 6 - An 18-year-old Federal Way man was arrested for NVOL. The suspect, while backing from a parking space at a local business, backed into a parked car. The suspect did not have a driver's license. He was arrested, cited and released.
July 7 - A 15-year-old boy reported that someone had stolen his bike. He later called to report he had found it.
July 10 - A 57-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for DUI. The suspect was stopped for erratic driving. The suspect, when stopped, appeared intoxicated. He agreed to take a field sobriety test. He failed all tests given. He was later transported to the police department for a BAC. The results were .246 and .230. The suspect's vehicle was impounded.
July 11 - Someone scratched the paint on a new truck at Baydo Chevrolet dealership.
July 11 - An Eatonville resident was involuntarily committed after attempting to commit suicide.
July 11 - Someone broke the branches off three trees on Mashell Ave. S.
