The suspect when contacted would not stop when told to and continued walking toward a parked car. The suspect got into the car and attempted to leave. The officer ordered the driver to stop the vehicle, which he did. The suspect was told to get out of the car and he would not do so. He then put his hand inside his coat and appeared to be moving something under his arm. The officer ordered him to show his hands. The suspect did not comply and continued to keep his hands inside his coat. The officer pulled his handgun and ordered him to remove his hands from his coat and step out of the car. When the suspect got out of the car a loaded .380 caliber semi automatic handgun fell from his coat onto the seat. The suspect was handcuffed and placed inside the police car. A search of the car disclosed several baggies of methamphetamine and other items of drug paraphernalia under the driver’s seat.
