March
1 – A
45-year-old Eatonville man was charged with 1st degree assault.
The man and his wife got into a verbal argument, which escalated, to a
physical fight. The man grabbed his wife by the throat and shoved her to the
floor. He then began to strangle her to the point she no longer could
breath. He told her that he would kill her if she called the cops. He then
departed the residence. The victim was transported to Good Sam Hospital for
treatment. The next morning the man returned to the residence and forced his
way inside. When his wife wouldn’t let him have a beer he threatened to
beat her up again. The victim waited several hours before calling police.
The man was gone. A warrant will be issued for his arrest.
March
1 – An
Eatonville man reported someone had shot his cat with what was believed to
be a shotgun. The cat was supposed to have been taken to a vet for
treatment. No suspects.
March
5 – A
39-year-old Eatonville woman reported someone had broken into her car while
it was parked in the rear parking lot at Plaza Market. The suspect broke the
back window and stole a hat and a calculator.

7 – A
17-year-old high school boy was charged with theft of a computer. The boy
took the computer from a classroom. The computer was later recovered at the
boy’s home. A case was sent to Remann Hall for review and criminal
charging.

63-year-old Eatonville man reported someone forced opened the back door to
his residence. The victim said nothing was missing.

19-year-old Orting man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
The arresting officer saw the suspect’s vehicle in the 100 block of
Washington Ave and noticed the tabs had expired. The vehicle was stopped and
the driver advised the reason for the stop. A records check showed he had a
suspended license for unpaid tickets. He was arrested, cited and later
released.
March
8 – A
27-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI, possession of stolen
property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The
arresting office saw the suspect southbound on SR161. His radar unit
registered a speed of 15MPH in a posted 50MPH zone. The officer kept
watching and the suspect never increased his speed over 19MPH and could hear
each time the car hit the rumble strip down the center of the roadway. When
the suspect turned onto SKI Park Rd he was stopped. The officer knew the
driver from previous contacts. While talking with the driver he was
obviously impaired. His speech was very slow and each word was drawn out.
The suspect showed signs that he was under the influence of marijuana. He
was arrested for DUI and during a search of his vehicle a traffic warning
sign was found in the back seat belonging to Pierce County. Also found was a
smoking device made from a beer can and a baggy of marijuana. The suspect
was cited and later released.

9 – A
16-year-old high school boy was charged with assaulting another student. The
suspect bit another student on the finger and then tried to strangle him
when he tried to report the incident to school staff. A report was sent to
Remann Hall for review and criminal charging.

13 – An
Officer was dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Jensen Lane on an
animal complaint. The Officer
was shown three dogs inside a residence that appeared to have been inside
and not taken care of. The
Officer contacted the resident that was out of the state. The dog’s owner
contacted a friend in Eatonville to take care of the animals.
March
13 – A
25-year-old Eatonville woman reported a burglary to her residence in the 200
block of Allison St. Upon
arrival the Officer found that the residence had been forcibly entered and a
number of areas were ransacked. Pierce County Sheriff’s Department
Forensics was called to process the crime scene.
Investigation continues.
March
15 – A
20-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for driving with a suspended license
2nd degree. The
arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 100 block of Mashell Ave
and knew his license was suspended. A records check confirmed the
suspect’s driver status through Fife Dispatch.
The suspect was stropped, arrested and booked into Fife Jail.
The man’s vehicle was towed.
March
16 – An
officer was dispatched to the Eatonville Elementary School to investigate a
possible child abuse case. The case was completed and sent to CPS for
review.
March
16 – A
16-year-old Eatonville girl was arrested for assaulting her mother. The
girl’s mother reported her daughter had hit her and kicked her.
Witnesses’ in the home confirmed the assault. The girl was arrested as
required by Washington State law and booked into Remann Hall.

are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle.
March
17 – A
21-year-old transient was arrested on a felony escape from community custody
warrant for his arrest and for identity theft. The arresting officer saw the
suspect’s vehicle in the 400 block of Center St E. He ran the license
plate number on his in car computer. The records check no computer record of
the plate number found. The vehicle was stopped and the driver advised the
reason for the stop. The driver said he didn’t have his license with him
and gave a name and date of birth to the officer. A records check showed he
had an ID card only and his license was suspended. When the officer told the
suspect he was under arrest, the suspect admitted to the officer he had used
a friends name and date of birth not knowing he had a suspended license. The
suspect said he lied because he had warrants for his arrest. A record check
of his real name showed he had warrants out of Arizona and one in Washington
for escape. He was arrested and booked into PC jail.

17 –
An officer dispatched a wild animal that appeared to be sick.
March
18 – An
Eatonville man reported someone had hit his car while it was parked in a
parking lot in Renton, Washington. A report was sent to Renton PD.
March
25 – a
61-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone during the night removed
the H2 emblems off his 2004 Hummer while it was parked in the 200 block of
Penn Ave.
March
26 – A
51-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI and possession of drug
paraphernalia. The arresting officer saw the suspect speeding in the 42000
block of SR161. He was locked in on radar at 80MPH in a posted 50MPH zone.
The suspect was stopped and appeared to be intoxicated. When the suspect
opened his car door to get out the officer saw a metal pot pipe on the
driver floorboard. While waiting for backup the officer asked the man if he
had any weapons in the car? The suspect said, “I have a gun.” He said it
was in the driver side door pocket. The man was arrested for DUI and
possession of drug paraphernalia. A search of the car produced a loaded .45
caliber pistol. The man had a weapons permit. The weapon was booked into
evidence. The suspect refused to take a breath test. He was cited and
released.

26 – A
30-year-old Buckley man was arrested for driving with a suspended license
and failure to have an ignition interlock device in his car. The arresting
officer saw the suspect driving in the 100 block of Washington Ave. He ran
the license plate on his in car computer. The records check showed the
registered owner had a suspended license and that he was required to have an
ignition interlock device in his car. The vehicle was stopped ands the
driver was the registered owner. He was arrested cited and released.
March
27 – A
wallet belong to a 23-year-old Illinois woman was found by an officer at the
intersection of SR161 and SR7. The owner was contacted and it will be mailed
back to her.

28 – An
81-year-old Eatonville woman reported someone had peeled off the
“OUTBACK” emblems off her car.

29 – A
local business reported a possible fraud. The case is still under
investigation.

37-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for driving with a suspended
license. The arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 100 block of
Washington Ave. He ran the license plate on his in car computer. The records
check showed the registered owner had a suspended license for child support
enforcement. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was the registered
owner. He was cited and later released.

February
1 – A
13-year-old Eatonville juvenile was reported to be in possession of a
pistol. An officer contacted
the victims and gained information that the juvenile had taken his
mother’s loaded pistol. He
showed it to other juveniles. The
juvenile then threatened to beat the witnesses with a hammer if they told.
The pistol was recovered. A
report was forwarded to Remann Hall for review and criminal charging.
February
2 – A
37-year-old Graham man and his 35-year-old girlfriend were arrested for
warrants for their arrest. The arresting officer saw the suspect’s vehicle
in the 100 block of Washington Ave. He ran the license plate on his in car
computer. The records check showed the registered owner had a felony drug
warrant for her arrest. The vehicle was stopped and the driver contacted and
advised the reason for the stop. The passenger in the vehicle was the
registered owner. She was arrested on the warrant. A records check on the
driver showed he also had a warrant for driving with a suspended license and
his license was currently suspended. He was arrested on the warrant. The
woman was booked into PC Jail. The man was booked into Fife City Jail.
February
3 – An
officer responding to an injured animal had to dispatch it because of its
injuries.

5 – Officers
were dispatched to the Blue Moon Pub on a reported disturbance. It turned
out to be verbal only.
February
5 – A
40-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for provoking an assault. Officers
were called to the Big Foot Tavern for a reported fight.
Upon arrival the officers made contact with the suspects and it was
determined that no fight had occurred. While questioning witnesses the
suspect, who was holding a pool stick in his hand, started towards the other
suspect involved in the disturbance and began yelling profanity that would
provoke a fight. The suspect
was arrested and booked into Fife Jail.
February
5 – A
29-year-old Eatonville man was charged with assault 4 (domestic violence)
and malicious mischief. Officers were dispatched to an address in the 300
block of Center St E. Officers were told that the suspects had been drinking
and were still fighting at the residence. The suspect reportedly was mad at
his wife and began breaking family pictures. He then started down the hall
towards his wife when a family friend stopped him form getting to her. The
suspect was released to another family member. A report was sent to the
prosecutor for review and possible criminal charging.
February
6 – Officers
were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Washington Ave N.
The suspects were contacted and it was determined that it was verbal only
and the male half had departed the area.
An information report was completed as required by law.
February
7 – A
22-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had entered his unlocked
vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of Mashell Ave S. The suspect(s)
stole a black case containing 55 CD’s.
February
7 – Three
14-year-old middle school boys were arrested for possession of marijuana and
drug paraphernalia. An officer was dispatched to the Eatonville Middle
School reference three students in possession of marijuana. Witnesses said
they saw a student hand another student a handful of marijuana. The three
students were interviewed and a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
was recovered. All three were arrested and booked into Remann Hall.
February
9 – A
45-year-old Eatonville woman reported a theft.
The woman reported that her son had taken a $250.00 Ipod to the
Eatonville Middle School. Person(s)
unknown had removed it from his bag. No
suspect information was provided.
February
10 – Someone
driving a small dark blue Chevy S-10 pickup truck backed into a parked car
in the 200 block of Center St W.

10 – Three
juvenile girls reported that a 15-year-old boy tried to pull one of the
girl’s pants down while they were at the Eatonville Community Center. The
boy was charged with assault and a report was sent to Remann Hall for review
and possible criminal charging.
February
11 – A
17-year-old Puyallup boy was arrested for minor in possession/consumption of
alcohol. The arresting officer noticed a Toyota 4Runner stop at the
intersection of SR161 and Ohop Valley Extension Rd. He saw that the
headlights had been tinted blue, which is an equipment violation. The driver
of the vehicle upon seeing the officer, started backing up away from the
intersection. As the officer pulled up to the vehicle he saw that the driver
had fled on foot. A passenger was still seated in the passenger seat and was
obviously intoxicated. He was arrested and given a portable breath test. The
results were .152. He was later transported home and released to his
parents. The vehicle was impounded.
February
13 – A 14-year-old middle school girl was arrested for
possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Witnesses said
the girl was in possession of marijuana and was showing it to other
students. She was brought to the office and a small tin containing marijuana
and three Vicodin tablets were found. The girl was arrested and later booked
into Remann Hall.
February
14 – A 66-year-old Eatonville woman reported a traffic
accident. The woman entered the
Police Department and reported a traffic accident that had occurred at the
post office. Investigation
revealed that the woman had backed into another vehicle.
The woman was issued a ticket for inattentive backing.
February
15 – A
nuisance violation report was referred to Public Works and the Planning
Commission. The property located on Wild Rose St. is completely littered
with trash, garbage, old appliances and wrecked vehicles. The Eatonville
Planning Commission will be investigating the incident.

unit on it, along with piles of used wood and other used building materials.

17 – Officers
were dispatched to the 200 block of Mashell Ave S on a reported trailer
fire. The Eatonville Fire Department was called and they determined a faulty
propane regulator started a fire on the water heater. The heat damaged a
water pipe, which began flooding the interior of the trailer. The water kept
the fire from spreading. Damages were estimated to be about $15,000.00. The
owner was not at home at the time.
February
19 – An Officer was dispatched to the 800 blk of
Eatonville Hwy for a Domestic Dispute.
Investigation revealed that the dispute was verbal only.
The male half left for the evening and an information report was
made.
February
19 – A 26 year old Eatonville man was arrested for DWLS 3rd.
The Officer discovered that the man’s driver license was suspended
by using his MDT. The Officer
stopped the vehicle and placed him under arrest.
The man was cited and released.

January
3 – A
37-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested on a warrant.
The arresting officer knew that the woman had an Eatonville Municipal
Court warrant for her arrest. The
Officer saw that she was at her residence, confirmed the warrant and
arrested her. She was booked
into the Pierce County Jail.
January
5 – An
Eatonville school bus hit an 18-year-old Eatonville High School student. The
accident is still under investigation.
January
7 – A
40-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for a warrant and driving with a
suspended license. The
arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 500 block of Center St. E.
He knew that she had a warrant for her arrest from Puyallup Municipal
Court and that her driver license was suspended. She was arrested and turned over to Puyallup PD.
January
8 – A
19-year-old Graham man was arrested for driving with a suspended license and
a $2500.00 warrant for his arrest. The
arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 200 block of Washington
Ave. and ran the license plate on his in car computer. The records check
showed the registered owner had two outstanding warrants from Eatonville
Municipal Court. The vehicle was stopped and as the officer approached the
driver he saw that it was not the registered owner but another man he
recognized from previous law enforcement contacts and also knew that he had
a warrant for his arrest. The
warrant was confirmed through Fife Police Dispatch and also that his driver
license was suspended in the 3rd degree.
The man was booked into Pierce County Jail on the warrant and cited
for the driving offense.
January

29-year-old Tacoma woman was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The arresting officer saw the suspect’s vehicle in the 200
block of Washington Ave. and ran the license plate on his in car computer.
The records check showed the registered owner had a suspended license for
unpaid tickets. The suspect was stopped and placed under arrest. She was
cited and later released.
January
10 – A
69-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for driving with a suspended
license. The arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 300
block of Washington Ave and ran the license plate on his in car computer.
The records check showed the license plates were cancelled for a dishonored
check. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was contacted and advised the
reason for the stop. A records check showed that the suspect had a suspended
license for DUI. The suspect was arrested, cited and later released.
January
12 – There
was a bomb threat written on the wall in the boy’s restroom. The school
went into lock down and the school searched. Nothing was found.
Investigation continues.
January
12 – A
59-year-old Graham man was charged with harassment. The suspect entered the
Eatonville Town Hall to pay a traffic ticket. The suspect got mad when told
an additional $52.00 had been added to the amount owed by the Washington
Department of License for a Failure To Appear issued by the court. The
suspect made a threatening remark towards the municipal court clerk “I
would like to hit her with a baseball bat.” The suspect then departed the
building. The suspect was charged with harassment. A police report was sent
to the prosecutor for criminal charging.
January
12 – An
18-year-old high school student reported that someone had damaged the left
rear fender of his car. He identified several suspects he thought did it.
Investigation continues by police and the high school security officer.
January
14 – A 33-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for
Assault 4 DV. The Officer was
called to a local tavern for a woman screaming at the customers. Upon
arrival the Officer saw the woman being held by the wrists. When the man
holding the woman released her she struck him on the face with a open hand.
The woman was placed into handcuffs and was uncooperative.
It was revealed that the man had been holding the woman after he had
removed her from behind the bar. The
man holding the woman was her live in boyfriend. The woman was booked into
the Pierce County Jail for assault 4 DV.
January
15 – A 45-year-old Eatonville man reported a hit and run.
The man said that he had parked his vehicle on 1-14-06 at about 1700
hrs. He said that on 1-15-06 at
0900 hrs he noted that his company vehicle had been struck.
He could not provide any suspect information.
The Officer checked with neighbors and found no further leads.
January
15 – A 14-year-old Tacoma Juvenile was arrested for
assault 4 DV. The Officer was called to the location for a report of a
fight. Upon arrival the mother of the juvenile reported that he had
threatened to kill her and attempted to hit her with a chair after she
talked with him about boarding school. The woman fled and the juvenile
chased her and pushed her to the ground causing her to strike her head and
hip. The juvenile was transported to Remann Hall and booked on the listed
charges.
January
15 – A 24-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for DWLS
2nd and a 20 year old Eatonville man was arrested for UPCS
Marijuana less than 40 grams. The
Officer made a check of the woman’s vehicle and her driver status. He lost sight of the vehicle when he was informed that her
driver license was suspended in the 2nd degree for DUI.
The Officer located the vehicle turning northbound onto SR 161 E.
from Ohop Creek Ext. The
Officer got behind the vehicle and waited till a safe location to stop the
vehicle. The vehicle was
stopped at SR 161 E. and Campbell Ln. The Officer made contact with the
driver and confirmed that she was the registered owner.
Her driver status was confirmed as being suspended through Fife
dispatch. She was taken into
custody and upon being advised of her rights told the Officer that the
passenger was in possession of Marijuana.
The Officer contacted the passenger and advised him of his rights and
upon searching him found two bags containing a green leafy substance that
field tested positive for Marijuana. The
man was arrest. Both persons
were issued citations and the vehicle was towed.
January
16 – A 37-year-old male, a 27-year-old female from Mena,
Arkansas, and a 16 year old Eatonville juvenile were arrested for Unlawful
Manufacture of a Controlled Substance – Meth.
The Officer obtained information that the three arrestees were
manufacturing Methamphetamine in the 100 blk Rainier Ave. S.
The Officers obtained a consent to search the residence.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department Lab team and a number of
Deputies assisted with the search. A
lab was found and rendered safe. The
three were taken into custody and booked into Pierce County Jail and Remann
hall. The Officer then obtained
a search warrant and the Lab team removed over 70 items of evidence to
include a loaded pistol. The man was also wanted by Polk County Arkansas for
manufacturing Meth. Case
forwarded to the Prosecutor.
January
16 – A 52-year-old Eatonville man reported a theft.
The man reported that between 1700 hrs., 1-15-06 and 0900 hrs.
1-16-06 person(s) unknown took his 9.9 hp outboard motor off his boat.
No suspect information was obtained.
January
17 – A 41-year-old Mount Vernon man was arrested for DWLS
2nd, UPCS Marijuana, and UPCS Paraphernalia. The man was stopped
for an equipment violation. Upon
contact the man gave the Officer a false name. The man finally admitted to
his real name and was taken into custody. Upon searching the man 4.3 grams
of a green leafy substance believed to be Marijuana and a smoking device
were found. The man was cited and released and his vehicle was towed.
Case forwarded to the Prosecutor for filing of charges.
January
17 – A 24-year-old Eatonville woman reported her vehicle
stolen. The Woman said that she
had lent the vehicle to a 20-year-old Eatonville man on 1-16-06.
The man failed to return it. A
case was written and at 1800 hrs. the woman reported that the van had been
returned. Case closed.
January
18 – A vehicle was impounded after it was found abandon
and blocking on Lynch Creek Rd and Washington Ave. N.

18 – A 28-year-old Puyallup man was arrested for driving
with a suspended license. The arresting officer saw the suspect’s vehicle
pass him on Washington Ave. He ran the license plate number on his in car
computer. The records check showed the registered owner had a suspended
license. He was stopped and was the registered owner. He was arrested, cited
and later released.
January
20 – A 14-year-old Eatonville boy was arrested for writing
a bomb threat on the wall in a boy’s restroom at the middle school.
January
21 – A 22-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for
assaulting his 26-year-old girlfriend. The suspect who had been drinking had
grabbed his girlfriend and shoved her against the wall. He was arrested for
domestic violence assault and booked into Fife City jail.
January
22 – A 23-year-old Eatonville woman reported a vandalism
to her vehicle. When the
officer arrived she showed some slight scratches on the hood of her vehicle.
The woman suspected her neighbors.
January
23 – A 36-year-old Mineral woman was arrested for
warrants. The arresting officer
stopped a vehicle the woman was riding in as a passenger for defective
lights in the 300 block of Center St E. When the officer contacted the
driver he noticed the woman acting unusually scared.
The suspect voluntarily gave the officer her name and date of birth.
A records check revealed 2 Felony warrants for her arrest.
She was taken into custody and booked into Pierce County Jail.
January
23 – A 23-year-old Eatonville man was arrested on a
$5,000.00 warrant. The
arresting officer stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Eatonville Highway
for defective equipment. Upon contacting the driver he recognized the
passenger from previous law enforcement contacts and knew he had a warrant
for his arrest for DUI. The
officer made a records check through Fife Dispatch which confirmed a
District Court Misdemeanor Warrant for DUI.
The man was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail.
January
24 – A
34-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had stolen her son’s
bike and a skateboard from their fenced in yard. The bike was described as a
green and black neon Mongoose with black plastic spoke wheels. The
skateboard was a “black Label”.
January
25 – A
32-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for driving with a suspended
license. The arresting officer saw the suspect’s vehicle in the 200 block
of Washington Ave N. He ran the license plates on his in car computer. The
records check showed the registered owner had a suspended license. The
vehicle was stopped and the driver was the registered owner. The suspect was
arrested, cited and later released.
January
25 – A
49-year-old Graham woman was arrested for DUI and failure to have an
ignition interlock device on the vehicle she was driving. The arresting
officer was contacted by a citizen and told there was a traffic accident at
SR161 and Orville Rd. Upon arrival at the accident scene the arresting
officer saw that the suspect’s vehicle in the ditch on Orville Rd. The
driver was contacted and appeared to be intoxicated. She was arrested and
later transported to the police station for a breath test. A records check
showed she is required to have an ignition interlock device on vehicles she
drives. The results of the breath test were .197 and .194. She was cited and
later taken home.
January
26 – A
15-year-old middle school boy hit another student repeatedly in the eye. The
suspect was angry over a comment allegedly made by the victim. As they were
walking towards the school buses after school the suspect started hitting
the other boy in the face. The victim suffered a black eye and a pretty good
size mouse over his right eye. The victim’s mother declined to have the
suspect charged with assault allowing the school to take the appropriate
action.
January
27 – A
12-year-old Eatonville girl was arrested for assaulting her grandmother. The
girl was arrested and booked into Remann Hall.
January
28 – Someone
wrote gang type graffiti on the wall in a restroom at the Eatonville
library.
January
30 – A 29-year-old Graham man was arrested for NVOL with
out ID and UPCS Paraphernalia. A
35-year-old Graham woman was arrested for UPCS Paraphernalia.
The Officer saw the vehicle traveling south-bound in the 300 blk of
Washington Ave. N. with expired tabs. The
Officer stopped the vehicle and the male was arrested for No Vehicle
Operators License without ID. Post
Miranda the man admitted that there were syringes inside the vehicle.
As the Officer began to search the vehicle the woman continued to
walk near and behind the Officer. The
Officer ordered the woman to a location where she could be watched. The search revealed 4 used syringes and a bottle with residue
in the glove box. Further in a
back pack on the right side floor board was 72 used syringes, residue, and a
smoking device. Inside the back
pack was mailed addressed to the female.
Both were arrested and cited. The
Items were seized as evidence. The
vehicle was released to the female who had a valid driver license.
January
31 – Two Eatonville juveniles were found to have Marijuana
Paraphernalia at the Eatonville Middle School.
The pipes were seen being passed by a Teacher.
The items were seized and the case has been sent to Remann Hall for
charging.

December
2 – A
37-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and
possession of stolen property. The arresting officer while parked in the 100
block of Washington Ave noticed a car pass him that had a window broken out
and the truck lock was missing. The officer ran the vehicle license plates
on his in car computer. The records check showed the vehicle was stolen in
November in Tacoma. The vehicle was stopped in the Mill Village parking lot
and the driver was arrested. The suspect was later booked into PC Jail.
December
5 – A
42-year-old Eatonville woman reported a theft of $750.00. The woman said
that on December 2, at about 0630 an known subject entered her residence to
ask for a ride to Tacoma. The man was left unattended in her bedroom and
took $750.00, her rent money. The man then fled. The man is a known
Eatonville man and is being sought for questioning.

5 – A
50-year-old Mineral man was arrested for UPCS Marijuana/UPCS Paraphernalia.
The Officer was outside of his vehicle when the man stopped and rolled down
his window. The Officer smelled the odor that he immediately recognized as
burnt Marijuana. The Officer contacted the man that said he had a
prescription for medical Marijuana and produced a large green leafy
“bud.” He further had in
his possession several smoking devices. The man was cited and released.
December
7 – A
35-year-old Graham man was arrested for DUI. A citizen reported that he was
following a possible DUI that had entered Eatonville. Officers responded to
the area and after seeing the man stopped for a very long time at the
intersection of Penn Ave. N. and Carter St. E. made a stop. The man
attempted to hide the odor by eating peanut butter. The man voluntarily
submitted to the FSTs which showed obvious impairment. The man was arrested
and gave two breath sample with the results of .214/.215. The man’s
vehicle was impounded.

7 – A
20-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for warrants. Officers learned the
location of the man whom had two outstanding Eatonville Municipal Court
warrants and one Felony warrant. The Officers went to the location and
knocked on the door.The man answered the door and was taken into custody.
The man was booked into Pierce County Jail.
December
8 – An
Officer responded to the Eatonville High School for a disorderly juvenile.
The juvenile was belligerent and aggressive towards staff members. The
juvenile had fled prior to the Officer arriving.

Eatonville juvenile was arrested for threats. The Officer was called to the
Eatonville Middle School. Upon arrival investigation revealed that the
Juvenile had made a threat to kill the middle school councilor. The Juvenile
was released to his parent and the case has been sent to Remann Hall for
charging.

15-year-old Eatonville juvenile was recovered as a runaway. The Officer was
informed that the Juvenile was at the Eatonville High School. The Officer
went to the High School and located the Juvenile. The Parents requested that
the Juvenile be placed in secure CRC. The Officer transported the Juvenile
to Remann Hall for transfer to the CRC.

33-year-old Tacoma man was recovered as a missing person. The Officer was
contacted about a man walking on SR 7 and the Eatonville Cut Off late at
night. The Officer went to the
area and located the man. A records check showed that he was a walk away
from Western State Hospital. The man was taken to a transfer point where
Lakewood P. D. took custody of him to return him to the Hospital.

10 – A
42-year-old Seattle woman reported a violation of a no contact order.
The woman said that on October 29 while at a funeral in Eatonville,
her ex-husband tried to talk with her in violation of a served no contact
order. She said that she departed the area to get away from him. When asked
why she had waited so long to report the incident she said that this was the
first time she had been back to Eatonville after the incident. The case was forwarded to the Eatonville Municipal Court
Prosecutor for filing of charges.

19-year-old Graham man was arrested for DUI and a 19-year-old Graham man was
arrested for MIP. The Officer stopped the vehicle for speeding and upon
contact with the driver detected an odor of alcohol. The man was given the
SFSTs and was arrested for DUI. A passenger in the vehicle also 19 was
discovered to have been drinking. Both men were arrested and transported to
Police Department for processing. The
driver gave a breath sample with the results of .176/.154. Both men were
cited and released. The vehicle was not towed due to a licensed driver that
had not been drinking in the vehicle.

48-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for a Felony warrant. The Officer
observed the man driving and recognized him through previous contacts. The
Officer made a check on his MDT which revealed the no bail warrant. The
Officer stopped the man and took him into custody. The man’s vehicle was
not impounded due to animals inside. The vehicle was retrieved by the
man’s son. The man was transported to the Pierce County Jail and booked on
the warrant.

42-year-old Graham man was arrested for a $1000.00 warrant.The man was
contacted by the Officer at 0130 hrs. The man and a woman voluntarily gave
the Officer their IDs. The Officer made a check which revealed a $1000.00
Auburn Municipal Court warrant.The man was arrested and transported to
Puyallup where he was picked up by Auburn P. D. for booking.

Eatonville juvenile female was arrested for PSP 3. The Officer was called to
the Eatonville High School for a report of a theft. The Juvenile had taken a
back pack with contents valued at over $180.00. The juvenile was released to
the school. The report was sent to Remann Hall for filing of charges.

39-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested on a warrant. The Officers were
informed of the woman’s warrant through the Eatonville Municipal Court. The woman was contacted at her house and arrested.
She was transported to the Pierce County Jail and booked on the
Assault 4 DV warrant.

Eatonville juvenile reported a traffic accident. The juvenile had attempted
to get home without clearing his windshield completely.The juvenile made a
right turn and struck a telephone box. Rainer Telephone Company was
notified.

matter.

34-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI/UPCS Para. The man was
stopped by the Officer after the Officer had observed the vehicle run a stop
sign and stop in the middle of the intersection. Upon stopping the vehicle
the Officer detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage. When asked if the
man had been drinking he said, “Maybe too much don’t you think?” The
man refused the SFSTs and the Officer placed him under arrest. During a
search of his person a wooden smoking device with residue was found. The man
was transported to the Eatonville P. D. for further processing and gave two
breath samples with the results of, 135/.134. The man was cited and
released. His vehicle was
impounded.

18 – A
31-year-old Ashford man was arrested for DWLS 3rd. The man was
stopped for an obstructed license plate. The man told the Officer that he
did not have a driver license. A check through Fife Dispatch revealed that
his license was suspended in the third degree. The man was cited and
released. The vehicle was not towed due to a small child and a licensed
driver being able to respond to the scene.

18 – A
19-year-old Graham man was arrested for DWLS 2nd, UPCS Marijuana
< 40 grams, and UPCS paraphernalia. A 26-year-old Eatonville man was
arrested for a warrant. The Officer observed the 19 year old driving his
vehicle and through checks on his MDT revealed that the man’ driver
license was suspended in the 2nd degree. The Officer stopped the
vehicle and confirmed that the driver was in fact suspended. The passenger
was identified and a check revealed a $2,000.00 Enumclaw Municipal Court
warrant for his arrest. Both men were placed under arrest and a search of
the vehicle revealed a smoking device and 1.9 grams of a green leafy
substance which field tested positive for Marijuana. The 19-year-old was
booked into Fife jail and the 26-year-old was transported to Puyallup and
turned over to Enumclaw P. D.

27-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for DWLS 3rd and a felony
warrant. The Officer stopped the man for speeding and an expired
registration. The Officer made a check of the man’s driver license which
revealed that he had a Felony Pierce County Warrant for Contempt failure to
show cause no bail. The man’s driver license was suspended in the third
degree. The man was booked in Pierce County Jail on the warrant and cited
for the driving charge. The man’s vehicle was towed.

19 – A
44-year-old Graham man was arrested for 4 warrants and a 45-year- old Orting
man was arrested for UPCS Marijuana. The Officer stopped the vehicle after
checking the vehicle’s registration on his MDT. The registered owner had a
warrant for her arrest. The Officer stopped the vehicle and upon making
contact found that the registered owner was a passenger in the vehicle. The
two males began acting suspiciously. The Officer identified the two men and
made a check through Fife which revealed that the male passenger had four
warrants for his arrest totaling $25,500.00. The man was arrested and upon
being placed in the vehicle told the Officer that the driver had Marijuana
in his possession. The Officer contacted the driver and he voluntarily gave
the Marijuana to the Officer. The man was cited and released on the
Marijuana possession, and the man with the warrants was booked into Pierce
County Jail. The registered owner’s warrants were unable to be confirmed
and she was released.
December
20 – Vandalism was reported at the Eatonville Cemetery. A family
member reported that two head stones had been vandalized. Photos were taken.
Estimated cost of repair is +$500.00. The investigation continues.

19-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for violating a court ordered
protection order and for violating an anti-harassment order. The suspect’s
ex-girlfriend reported the suspect had been constantly calling her in
violation of the court order. The suspect was located and admitted he had
contacted the girl almost everyday either in person or by phone. The suspect
was arrested and booked into Fife City jail.

21 – A
33-year-old Tacoma man was arrested on four warrants for his arrest. The
arresting officer had information that the suspect was at an address in the
area of Washington Ave S. The officer knew which vehicle the suspect may be
driving so he parked and waited. As the suspect vehicle approached the
officer’s location he was able to run the license plate number on his in
car computer. The records check showed the tabs had expired on the vehicle.
The vehicle was stopped and a passenger in the car was the suspect the
officer was looking for. He was arrested and booked into PC jail.
December
22 – A
34-year-old Eatonville man reported he had received a forged Bank of America
cashier’s check for a vehicle he was selling on line. The man was
suspicious of the check and took it to a Bank of America branch where he
learned the check was a fraud.
December
25 – A
23-year-old Kent man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
The arresting officer saw the suspect at the intersection of
Washington Ave and Center St. He ran the vehicles license plates on his in
car computer. The records check
showed the registered owner’s driver license was suspended.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver matched the description of the
owner. The suspect was cited and released at the scene.
December
25 – A
50-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for domestic violence assault.
An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of
Washington Ave S for a report of a domestic incident.
Upon arrival the officer found that the suspect had pushed his
20-year-old stepson when he would not get off the phone.
A police report has been sent to the Prosecutor for review and
possible criminal charging.

26 – A
29-year-old Auburn man and a 19-year-old Auburn man were arrested on
warrants. The arresting officer saw a vehicle that he recognized from
an earlier arrest pass him in the 200 block of Washington Ave N.
The officer ran the vehicle license plates on his in car computer.
The records check showed the registered owner had a $2,000.00 warrant for
his arrest for driving with a suspended license and DUI.
The officer stopped the vehicle and recognized the driver as the
registered owner. He further
saw a large number of weapons in the vehicle.
He also recognized the passengers and while awaiting confirmation of
the driver’s warrant made a records check of the passengers, one of which
also had a $1,000.00 warrant for driving without a license.
The officer arrested both men and transported them to Puyallup where
he released them to an Auburn Officer.
The vehicle was not towed due to a licensed driver being present.

26 – A
22-year-old Bonney Lake man was arrested for several warrants.
The arresting officer saw the suspect’s vehicle in the 200 block of
Washington Ave. He ran the license plates on his in car computer. The
records check showed the plates were cancelled for a dishonored check.
During the contact with the driver, the passenger began acting
suspiciously. The officer asked
the man for his ID. The man
said he didn’t have any but gave his name and date of birth.
The officer completed the contact and released the driver.
As the vehicle was leaving the officer was notified by dispatch that
the passenger had 3 warrants for his arrest totaling $15,255.00.
The officer again stopped the vehicle and arrested the man.
He was booked into Pierce County Jail.
December
27 – A
20-year-old Fort Lewis man was arrested for a warrant for his arrest. A
citizen contacted an officer about a vehicle being driven erratically.
The witness gave the officer a description of the vehicle and the
license plate number. A records
check on the license plate showed the registered owner had two $500.00
Eatonville Municipal Court warrants for domestic violence assault and minor
in possession of alcohol. The
officer made an area check and saw the vehicle parked in the 100 block of
Mashell Ave S. The owner of the vehicle was found in the area of the car. He
was arrested on the warrants and later booked into Fife City jail.
December
29 – A
stolen vehicle was recovered in the 11900 block of 415th St Ct E.
A citizen called to report that a GMC pickup truck was parked in the middle
of the road. An officer was dispatched and a records check showed it had
been reported stolen out of Orting, WA. The vehicle was towed by Eatonville
Towing and will be turned over to the owner.

1 – An
Officer responded to a traffic accident in the 100 blk of Center St. E. Investigation revealed that a 70-year-old Eatonville woman
was parked in front of Key Bank. The
woman pulled out and struck another vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
November
1- A
53-year-old transient was arrested on a Felony Warrant.
The Officer observed two males in a vehicle acting suspicious.
The Officer contacted the males in the 200 blk Center St. E. in a
parking lot. After a short
conversation the males voluntarily gave their names and dates of birth.
The Officer conducted a check and found that one of the men had lied
to him. After re contacting the man he finally gave his true name and
date of birth and a records check revealed a Felony no bail warrant for
escape. The man was arrested
and booked into the Pierce County Jail.
November
2 – A
13-year-old Middle School boy was arrested for assaulting another student.
November
3 – A
20-year-old Graham man was charged with violation of a protection order. The
suspect’s ex-girl friend reported that the suspect had followed her around
Eatonville. This is a clear violation of the court order. A report was sent
to the prosecutor for review and criminal charging.

3 – Two
high school students and a 19-year-old man are being charged with possession
of marijuana. The suspect who sold them the marijuana was identified. A
search warrant was requested.
November
4 – A
52-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for unlawful delivery of marijuana,
possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug
paraphernalia. A search warrant was served on the suspect who lives in the
RV Park behind the Mill Village Shopping Center. During the search marijuana, scales, syringes and a pot
pipe were found. The suspect was arrested and booked into Pierce County
Jail.

5 – An
Eatonville Officer involuntarily committed a man.
November
6 – A
27-year-old Yakima man was arrested on $300,000.00 worth of felony arrest
warrants. The warrants were for Burglary 1st degree, Assault 2nd
degree, Felony harassment, 1st degree, Unlawful possession of a
firearm, Possession with intent to deliver-Cocaine and Possession with
intent to deliver- Meth. The suspect was observed traveling northbound on
Washington Ave N with two very bright green lights mounted on the hood
(Green light are reserved strictly for voluntary fire department personnel
responding to an incident). The vehicle was stopped and the driver
contacted. A records check showed he had the felony warrants for his arrest.
He was arrested on the warrants and booked into PC Jail.
November
8 – An
Eatonville Officer committed a woman after she took a large quantity of
pills in an apparent suicide attempt.
November
8 – A
64-year-old Eatonville man was listed as a missing and an endangered person. A 56-year-old woman reported that the man had left under
suspicious circumstances. The man was entered as missing in the NCIC.
Investigation revealed that the man had entered a medical treatment
facility on his own and was removed as missing.
November
8 – An
investigation into a hit and run was opened.
Eatonville town employee informed the Police that an unknown vehicle
had struck the power box to the pump station located at the APP fuel site. Estimated cost of repair is $300.00.
November
8 – The
Eatonville High School reported a malicious mischief.
On 11-5-05, unknown persons threw a piece of concrete through a
window on the west side of the auditorium.
The building was occupied at the time.
Estimated cost of repair $400.00.
The investigation continues.

9 – A
41-year-old Lakewood woman was arrested for Possession of a stolen vehicle,
Possession of Meth, Possession of drug paraphernalia and having burglar
tools. The arresting officer saw the suspect pass him in the 100 block of
Washington Ave N. He ran the license plates on the vehicles on his in car
computer. The records check showed the vehicle had been stolen in Tacoma.
The suspect pulled into a driveway in the 100 block of Washington Ave. The
officer pulled in behind the suspect and ordered her to remain in the car
until back up officers could arrive. The suspect was then brought out at
gunpoint. During a search of the vehicle a plastic bag with meth was found
along with other drug paraphernalia. Also found were 41 different automotive
ignition keys. The suspect was transported and booked into PC Jail.
November
10 – A
teenage high school boy was reportedly smoking marijuana on the bus. An
officer was dispatched to the school after another student reportedly saw
the same suspect trying to give another student the marijuana and a pipe
before he was caught with it. The boy at first denied smoking or having
marijuana at school. He finally admitted he had the marijuana and when he
couldn’t find someone to hold it for him he flushed it down the toilet.
With no physical evidence the boy was not charged.
November
10 – A
teenage middle school boy reported that a high school student had threatened
to cut his face up with a knife. The boy was interviewed and said friends
told him that the high school boy was going to beat him up and cut him with
a knife. His friends were interviewed but none of them saw the knife or were
told by the suspect that he had a knife and threaten to cut the boy. They
said they were told this but couldn’t produce any names. The high school
student was interviewed and denied threatening anyone with a knife. He and
another student said it was the other way around the middle school boy
wanted to fight him. No charges were filed because there were no witnesses
who could testify that a threat had been made.
November
10 – An
officer was dispatched to the middle school for a teenage girl who had been
suspended and refusing to leave school grounds with her mother. The officer
contacted the girl in front of the school. She was given the choice of
leaving with her mother or going to Remann Hall for criminal trespass. She
wisely chose to leave with her mother.
November
10 – A
15-year-old high school boy was charged with threats. The suspect admitted
he was angry with another student for getting him involved in an incident
that caused him to have to go to the office. He threatened to beat the boy
up after school or have his brother beat him up. The victim was afraid to be
in school and fearful he would be jumped by the suspect and his brothers.
The suspect was charged with harassment and released back to school
officials. A report was sent to Remann Hall for review and possible criminal
charges.
November
13 – An
Eatonville woman was committed for a mental evaluation after she attempted
suicide by cutting her wrist.
November
15 – Two
middle school girls got involved in a fight. Neither wanted to press assault
charges.
November
17 – A
middle school boy was charged with assault after he assaulted a teacher.
November
18 – A
22-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for driving with a suspended
license. His 14-year-old female passenger was also arrested for a felony
arrest warrant from Remann Hall. The arresting officer was parked in the 600
block of Eatonville Highway waiting for traffic to clear. He noticed a car
pass and immediately recognized the driver from previous law enforcement
contacts and knew his license was suspended. The car was stopped and he was
arrested. The officer then noticed a juvenile girl hiding in the back seat
of the car. The girl is well known to local law enforcement personnel. A
records check showed she had a felony warrant for her arrest issued by
Remann Hall. The man was cited and released the girl was booked into Remann
Hall.
November
21 – A
31-year-old Spanaway woman was arrested on a felony warrant for her arrest. Information was given to an officer that the suspect was
wanted on drug charges could be found at an address on Rainier Ave S. The
officer ran the suspects name on his in car computer. The records check
showed the suspect did have a Pierce County Superior Court felony no bail
warrant for unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, unlawful
possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of a firearm 2nd
degree. The woman was found in
the residence and taken into custody. She
was booked into Pierce County Jail.
November
22 – An
Eatonville Juvenile was arrested for threats to bomb the middle school. The threat was written on the boy’s bathroom mirror.
Through a series of interviews a suspect was identified and he later
admitted writing the bomb threat. The
juvenile was arrested and released to his parents.
The case was sent to Remann Hall for charging.

22-year-old Orting man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
The arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 100 block of Washington
Ave. He ran the suspects license plate on his in car computer. The records
check showed the registered owner had a suspended license for reckless
driving cancelled insurance. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was the
registered owner. He was arrested, cited and later released.
November
24 – A
49-year-old Federal Way man and his 26-year-old son were arrested for
possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia. The arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 200
block of Washington Ave. He ran the suspects license plate on his in car
computer. The records check showed that the registered owner had a suspended
license. The vehicle was stopped in the 500 block of Center St E. When the
officer approached the vehicle he could smell the strong odor of alcohol
coming from the vehicle and saw a case of beer between the legs of the
passenger. A records check of the passenger showed he had a warrant for his
arrest out of Seattle for “physical control’ and another one out of
Federal Way for driving with a suspended license. Both suspects were
arrested. During a search of the suspects both were found to be in
possession of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were later booked
into PC Jail.

2 – A
56-year-old McMinnville Oregon woman reported a violation of a no contact
order. A 68-year-old Tacoma man
that was ordered not to contact the woman, attempted to leave a note on her
parked vehicle in front of the residence she was visiting.
The woman and her sister recognized the man and yelled at him that
they were calling the police and the man fled.
The case has been sent to the Municipal Prosecutor for filing of
charges.
October
2 – A
30-year-old Tacoma man was arrested on a felony warrant.
The arresting officer stopped the vehicle the man was riding in the
300-blk of Washington Ave. N. Upon
contact the Officer saw that the passenger was acting suspiciously. The Officer requested the man’s information, which he gave
freely. The Officer conducted a
records check, which revealed the man had a felony no bail Pierce County
Superior Court Warrant for Malicious. Mischief 2.
The man was arrested and transported to the Pierce County Jail.
October
3 – A
39-year-old Auburn man was arrested for a $5000.00 Auburn PD warrant for
Assault 4th degree DV and Unlawful Possession of a firearm 1st
degree. A 35-year-old Black
Diamond woman was cited for unlawful carry of a firearm.
The arresting officer stopped the vehicle for speeding in the 100-blk
of Washington Ave. N. During a
records check it was revealed that the male driver had a $5000.00 Auburn
Municipal Court Warrant for Assault 4th degree DV.
It was further discovered that the man was a convicted Felon.
The man was arrested. A
search incident to a lawful arrest revealed a loaded .38 cal. revolver under
the passenger seat. The woman
that was in the passenger seat claimed the firearm but was unable to
describe it or give its caliber. She
was cited for unlawful carry of a firearm and the male, who said that his
cousin had placed it there, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a
Firearm 1st degree. The
male was booked into Pierce County Jail and the woman was cited and
released.
October
3 – Two
middle school boys were arrested for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled
Substance. A teacher had seen the two boys passing what later turned out to
be marijuana to each other. The boys were taken to the office and police
were called. The boys were arrested and booked into Remann Hall.

3 – An Eatonville Officer conducted a welfare check.
The Officer was advised that an Eatonville woman was acting very
distraught. It was felt that
she might attempt to injure or kill herself.
The Officer went to the residence and contacted the woman.
The woman was upset but denied any intentions of injuring herself.
The Officer provided her with assistance information.

6 – An
84-year-old Eatonville woman died of natural causes.
October
8 – A
36-year-old Eatonville woman and her boyfriend became involved in a verbal
argument over an ex-girlfriend. The woman said her boyfriend called the
police in order to avoid the conversation and to take the pressure off of
him. A report was written as required by law.

12 – A
51-year-old Eatonville woman reported a DV related threats complaint.
The Officer found that the woman and her 61-year-old Eatonville
boyfriend had become involved in a verbal dispute. The man then threatened to kill the woman’s dog.
The case was forwarded for possible charging.

24-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant.
The Officer was at a local business when he saw the man.
The Officer knew that the man had an outstanding Eatonville Municipal
Warrant. The Officer confirmed
the warrant and the man was transported to Fife Jail and booked.

responded to a 911 hang-up. Upon
arrival the Officers made contact with a 32-year-old Eatonville woman and a
25-year-old Eatonville man. Both
stated that they had been in a verbal argument.
The Officers determined that no crime had been committed and
departed.

50-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone entered her residence a
stole two blank checks and $50.00.

18-year-old woman was involuntary committed for a mental evaluation after
she told officers she wanted to hurt herself.

21-year-old Puyallup man was arrested for DWLS 3rd.
The man was stopped for no seatbelt.
A records check revealed that the man was suspended.
The man was cited and released.
The vehicle was not towed due to a licensed driver responding to the
scene.

responded to a multi car collision at SR 161 and Ski Park Rd.
The Officer’s investigation revealed that 5 vehicles were involved.
Two of the drivers were issued NOI’s for following too close.
No injuries were reported.

37-year-old Graham man was arrested for DWLS 3rd.
The man was stopped for speeding.
A records check revealed that the man’s driver license was

18 – Two
Eatonville juveniles were arrested for assault 4th degree. The Officer was called to a school for an assault.
Investigation revealed that two juveniles’ shot folded paper at the
teacher striking her on the face. The
juveniles were released to their parents.
The case has been sent to Remann hall for charging.

Officers were dispatched to the 42000 block of SR 161 to a reported vehicle
vs. bear accident. A witness
stated that as he came around the bend he saw a bear attempt to cross the
roadway and the vehicle in front of him hit the bear.
The witness tried to miss the bear but there was oncoming traffic and
he hit the bear also. Due to
the injuries the officer dispatched the bear.

19 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for assault 4th degree DV. Officers were called to the 200 blk of Carter St. E. for a
physical domestic in progress. The
Officers arrived and the investigation revealed that the man had blocked his
17-year-old Eatonville girlfriend with his truck. He then exited and assaulted her by grabbing both her arms
and attempting to get her into his vehicle.
The man was arrested and booked into Fife Jail.
October
20 –A
26-year-old
Ashford man was arrested for DWLS 3rd degree.
The Officer observed the vehicle traveling southbound on Washington
Ave. N. The Officer conducted a
check of the vehicle and registered owner on his MDT.
It revealed that the registered owner had a suspended license.
The Officer stopped the vehicle and the man was cited and released.
The vehicle was towed do to its location.
October
20 – A
52-year-old Shelton man was arrested for DUI.
The man had entered Town Hall at about 1440 hrs.
The Officer was alerted that the man was having trouble standing and
a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was coming from him.
The Officer saw the man get into his vehicle and stopped him in the
100 blk of Mashell Ave. N. The man performed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and
showed obvious signs of impairment. The
man was arrested and transported to the Eatonville P. D. where he was
processed. The man refused to
give a breath sample. The
man’s vehicle was towed and he was released.
The man was further issued NOI’s for No valid license due to it
being suspended for DUI and no proof of insurance.
October
21 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man violated a no contact order.
The Officer was contacted in reference to a violation of an emergency
no contact order. The Officer
was told that the 19 year old had driven past his 17-year-old girlfriend and
had attempted to talk with her. It
was reported that he had asked her to get the order dropped.
The Officer was unable to contact the 19 year old.
The case has been sent to the prosecutor for possible filing of
charges.
October
21 – A
42-year-old Eatonville woman reported an attempted burglary.
The Officer responded to the scene.
He was informed that when the woman had come to work she had found
the door slightly ajar. She
said that she found an item on the floor that was last placed near the cash
register. The Officer could not
find any signs of forced entry. There
were no items found to be missing. Case
is closed pending further leads.
October
22 – An
11-year-old Eatonville juvenile was arrested for assault 4th
degree DV. The Officer was
called to the Eatonville Community Center for a juvenile problem.
Upon arrival the Officer was informed that the 11 year old had struck
his 7-year-old brother in the chest. Both
boys mother was at the location. The
Officer was informed that the 11 year old was on probation for assaulting
the 7 year old. The mother
asked that the 11 year old be booked into Remann Hall.
The Officer arrested the 11 year old and transported him to Remann
Hall. The case is forwarded to
Remann Hall for charging.
October
22 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for Assault 4 DV and MIP.
The Officer was called to an aid call in progress in the 100 blk
Mashell Ave. N. The Officer
made contact with the male in the Eatonville Fire Department Aid rig. The man was intoxicated and had a laceration to the arm.
It was discovered that the man was active duty Army.
The Officer contacted Ft Lewis and informed them of the situation.
The man was transported to Madigan Army Medical Center for treatment.
The man was issued a citation for MIP.
Later that night the man’s 23-year-old wife contacted the Officer.
She informed him that the man had struck her on the face earlier. The Officer responded to the scene. The woman said that they had begun arguing when the man
slapped her on the right side of the face.
The Officer then responded to Madigan Army Medical Center and again
contacted the man. The man was
under observation by his chain of command.
The man was read his Miranda Rights, which he invoked.
The man was issued a citation for Assault 4 DV and turned over to
Military authorities. The case
has been sent to the Eatonville Municipal Court Prosecutor for review.

22 – An
Officer responded to a 911 open line. Upon
arrival he found a 64-year-old Eatonville man having trouble.
The Officer arranged for transport to Crisis Triage for the man.

27-year-old Eatonville woman was involuntarily committed.

50-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI.
The Officer observed a vehicle making an exaggerated left turn onto
Washington Ave. N. from Lynch Creek Rd.
The Officer followed the vehicle and saw it cross the fog line and
almost hit the concrete barrier in the 500 blk of Washington Ave. N.
The Officer stopped the vehicle and upon contact detected the odor of
an alcoholic beverage coming from the man.
The man voluntarily performed the FSTs.
The man showed obvious signs of impairment. The man was arrested and transported to the Eatonville Police
Department for processing. The
man refused the breath test. The
man’s vehicle was towed. The
man was cited and released. Case
sent to the Eatonville Municipal Prosecutor for filing of charges.

25 – A
14-year-old Eatonville juvenile was arrested for assault 4.
The juvenile assaulted another 14-year-old Eatonville boy on
10-24-05. The boy then turned
himself into the Police Department. The
boy’s Correction Officer was notified of the incident and had been issuing
an arrest warrant for him. The
boy was transported to Remann Hall at the request of his mother and booked
on the assault charge.

26 – An
Officer investigated a traffic accident.
The Officer was dispatched to the intersection of Mashell Ave. N. and
Carter St. Upon arrival it was
revealed that a vehicle traveling southbound had stopped for the crossing
guard. A vehicle traveling
northbound had also stopped for the crossing guard.
The guard released the intersection and the southbound vehicle
attempted to make a left turn striking the vehicle traveling north. No injuries were reported.

14-year-old Middle School girl was arrested for possession of marijuana.

27-year-old Eatonville woman was involuntary committed for a mental
evaluation after she attempted suicide by cutting her wrist.

24-year-old Eatonville woman reported that her vehicle had been broken into. The woman reported that her vehicle had been impounded and
when she went to get it released she found the right rear window broken.
She said that the vehicle’s stock radio had been taken.
Investigation continues.

25-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for DUI/UPCS Marijuana/UPCS
Paraphernalia. The Officer
observed the woman’s vehicle traveling southbound near Ski Park Rd. on SR
161 in the oncoming lane. The
Officer stopped the vehicle and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic
beverage coming from the woman. The
woman was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
A search of her vehicle revealed paraphernalia and a bag of suspected
marijuana. The woman struck her head while in the Police vehicle causing
a laceration to her scalp. The
woman was treated by the Eatonville Fire Dept. and declined further aid.
The woman was processed, cited and released.
The woman’s vehicle was impounded.

31 – A
59-year-old Eatonville man reported that his vehicle had been broken into. The man said that he had parked the vehicle about a week ago.
When he went to get into the vehicle he noticed that the door was
slightly ajar. He also found that his AM/FM CD player had been removed from
the vehicle. The man did not
see nor hear anyone around the vehicle.
Investigation continues.

11-year-old Eatonville juvenile was arrested for threats to kill.
The juvenile made threats to shoot his teacher and other staff
members as well as the facility. The
case has been sent to Remann Hall for charging.

2 – a
20-year-old Eatonville man was arrested on a $500.00 Eatonville Municipal
Court warrant for his arrest. The suspect was seen walking towards the Post
Office. The arresting officer knew he had an outstanding warrant for his
arrest for theft. The suspect was arrested, transported and booked into Fife
City Jail.
September
4 – A
19 and 20-year-old Spanaway man were arrested for minor in
possession/consumption of alcohol. The arresting officer was dispatched to
Eatonville Highway and Center St on a reported fight involving three men.
Upon the arrival of the officer he arrested two of the men for being under
the influence of alcohol. The third man had been drinking but was
21-years-old. The two suspects were cited and later released.
September
5 – A
22-year-old Eatonville woman was found at fault in a two-car collision in
the 42200 block of SR161. The suspect was southbound on SR161 as she was
rounding a curve she saw vehicles stopped in the roadway ahead of her. She
applied her brakes and skidded into the back of a car being driven by a
34-year-old Eatonville man.
September
8 – A
21-year-old Eatonville man was charged with provoking an assault. The
arresting officer was called to a residence in the 200 block of Baumgartner
Place on a runaway report. After leaving the residence the officer did an
area check for the runaway boy. He was then dispatched to the Mill Village
Chevron for a reported incident involving the suspect and the man who
reported the boy as a runaway. The man complained that the suspect had
provoked him into a fight over the way he had tried to keep the runaway boy
from leaving the residence. The suspect was charged with provoking a fight.
The runaway boy was later found and returned home.
September
9 – The
owner of the Eatonville Towing reported he had towed a vehicle abandoned on
some property in the 4800 block of 432nd St. that later turned
out to have been stolen in Tacoma in 2001. A recovery report was completed.

contacted a Mental Health Professional after an Eatonville man handed them
some letters and began acting suspiciously.
The man later checked himself into a health care facility.

11 – A
22-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for an Eatonville warrant and for
possession of drug paraphernalia. The
Officer was requested to assist in a suspicious person call by the Pierce
County Sheriffs Dept. Upon
arrival the man was identified as having a warrant from Eatonville Municipal
Court. The man was arrested and
a search of his person revealed Meth. Paraphernalia.
The man was booked into Fife Jail.

13 – An
Officer investigated an alleged assault that occurred at the Eatonville
Middle School. The juvenile
victim reported that a juvenile male had been poking her in the ribs and
putting a pencil down her pants between the skin and jeans.
The case has been forwarded to Remann hall for filing of charges.

Officer began an investigation into a bomb threat at the Eatonville Middle
School. At this time there are
several suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

23-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone entered her unlock
residence while she was away from home and stole an Xbox valued at $200.00,
a $50.00 Sony portable CD player and about $1000.00 worth of CD’s.

local business reported a theft of money from the business. The suspects are
employees. Investigation continues.

28-year-old Westport man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
While on a Washington State seat belt emphasis the arresting officer saw the
west bound in the 300 block of Center St. E. A records check showed that the
registered owner of the car had a suspended license for refusing a breath
test on a DUI charge. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was the
registered owner. He was arrested, cited and later released.

16 - A
28-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for a Pierce County Felony warrant for
his arrest. While on a Washington State seat belt emphasis the arresting
officer saw a truck south bound on Washington Ave N. He noticed that the
passenger was not wearing his seat belt. The vehicle was stopped and the
passenger advised the reason for the stop. A records check showed he had a
felony warrant for failing to show cause/contempt review and he had a
$2000.00 Tacoma warrant for domestic violence. He was arrested, transported
and booked into PC jail.
September
16 – A
16-year-old Eatonville girl was arrested for delivery of a controlled
substance after she gave two female students vicodin pills. The girl was
later arrested and released to her parents. A report was sent to Remann Hall
for criminal charging.
September
17 – A
27-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI and Malicious Mischief 3,
and a 27-year-old Eatonville man was cited for obstructing.
Officers were called in reference to a vehicle doing donuts and
driving on the sidewalk in the 100 blk of Mashell Ave. N.
An Officer got behind the vehicle in the 400 blk of Mashell Ave. S.
The Officer attempted to stop the vehicle and it continued to the 200
blk Madison Ave. S. The driver then exited the vehicle and attempted to flee
behind the house. The Officer
was able to take the driver into custody.
Eatonville Tow was requested to respond to remove the vehicle. A man became very aggressive towards the Officers at the
scene and attempted to block the vehicle from being removed.
The man further made several threatening statements to the Officers.
September
18 – A
39-year-old Eatonville woman reported a physical domestic.
The Officer was called to an address on Rainier Ave. N. for a woman
complaining of a physical assault. The
woman said that her 44-year old boyfriend had pushed her down some stairs at
her residence. Medical aid
responded and she declined transport. The
Officer transported her to an acquaintances residence who revealed that she
had fallen at his residence earlier in the day. The suspect has yet to be
contacted.
September
20 – A
report was taken for harassment at the Eatonville High School.
The complaint stemmed from an assault against a school administrator
that had occurred prior. The
case has been sent to Remann Hall for charging.

Officer responded to the intersection of Washington Ave. and Center St. E.
for a MVC. Investigation
revealed that a 24-year-old California woman failed to stop for the stop
sign and struck a Eatonville woman. No
injuries were reported at the scene. The
California woman was issued a NOI for failure to stop.
Aug.
1- A
44-year-old Puyallup woman reported that the rear window of her vehicle had
been broken. Investigation
revealed that the woman had parked her vehicle in the parking lot of where
she works in the 200 blk Center St. W. at about 0800.
When she returned to her vehicle at 1530 she discovered that a orange
golf ball had broken her rear window. There
were now witnesses. Investigation
continues.
Aug.
2 – A
35-year-old Eatonville man reported that his nephew had stolen an electronic
device from his residence. The
man brought the 14 year old Puyallup boy to the Police Department.
The boy admitted taking the item and it was recovered.
The case is forwarded to Remann Hall for filing of charges.

vehicle was impounded as abandon in the 100 blk Madison Ave. S.
A stolen license plate was recovered in the vehicle.

Officer responded to a business in the 100 blk Mashell Ave. N.
Investigation revealed that a known Eatonville man attempted to enter
an establishment that he had been kicked out of.
When he was refused service he became angry, went to his vehicle and
rammed a fence that was around the rear of the business. Investigation
continues.

investigated a MVC at the intersection of Carter St. E. and Orchard Ave. N.
Investigation revealed that a 45-year-old Eatonville man failed to
stop for a stop sign. His
vehicle was struck by a 65-year-old Eatonville man. Minor injuries were
reported and a passenger from each vehicle was taken to medical treatment
facilities.

7 – A
teenage girl reported her father had choked her. The incident was
investigated and the officer feels the father was attempting to control his
daughter after she became violent and was reportedly destroying everything
she could get a hold of. A report was sent to the prosecutor for review.

17-year-old Eatonville girl was reported as a runaway.
August
10 – An
officer was dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Washington Ave on
a reported domestic dispute between a 36-year-old man and his 35-year-old
live in girlfriend. The officer determined it was a verbal altercation only.

17-year-old Eatonville girl turned herself in as a runaway. She was
transported to her residence and released to her parents.
August

37-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested on a $10,100.00 felony warrant for
her arrest. Kent Police Department called and requested assistance in
arresting an Eatonville woman on a felony theft warrant. The woman was
currently living at an apartment building in the 200 block of Rainier Ave N
with her two children and her boyfriend. The suspect was arrested and while
being questioned admitted she had drug paraphernalia in the home. The
suspect went to her bedroom and gave the officer two crack pipes and several
marijuana bongs. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. She
was later transported to a location in the Puyallup area and released to a
Kent Police officer.
August
13 – A
27-year-old Spanaway man was arrested for DUI.
The man was reportedly shooting a handgun from his vehicle on Scott
Turner Rd and was headed towards Eatonville on the Alder Cut Off Road. An Officer spotted the suspect in his vehicle in the 200
block of Washington Ave. S. The
suspect was stopped and advised the reason for the stop. When the driver was
contacted he showed obvious signs of intoxication. Because a weapon may have
been involved he was searched as well as his vehicle. No weapon was found.
The suspect was asked if he would submit to a field sobriety test? He
refused. He was arrested and transported to the station for a breath test.
Once at the station he refused the breath test. His license was punched and
he was later released. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded after it was
discovered he had switched plates on the vehicle.
August
14 – A
26-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had put epoxy into the
locks of his apartment. Neighbors
were interviewed but no one saw anything.
August
22 –
A
16-year-old Eatonville juvenile was arrested for assault 4.
Several juveniles who reported a vehicle was traveling around town
shooting an air soft BB gun at them contacted an officer.
One of the victims said she was hit in the shoulder by one of the
BB’s. A few minutes later another call came in that a person in a Honda
Civic had shot at another boy with a BB gun. An officer in the area stopped
the suspect vehicle at Carter St. W. and Orchard Ave. N.
The juvenile admitted to the crime.
He was arrested and transported to the Eatonville Police Department
and later released to his parents. The
case has been forwarded to Remann Hall for criminal charging.
August
23 – A
35-year-old Tacoma woman and a 31-year-old Tacoma woman were arrested for
Possession of Stolen Property 1st and drug paraphernalia.
The arresting officer saw the vehicle traveling southbound on
SR161and Ski Park Road. The officer ran the license plate on his in car
computer. The records check showed the vehicle was stolen.
The Officer stopped the vehicle in the 41700 blk of SR 161.
The two women were taken into custody at gunpoint.
During a search incident to arrest two Meth pipes were found.
The women were transported and booked into Pierce County Jail.
August
23 – a
22-year-old Eatonville woman reported damage to her two vehicles.
It was discovered that between the hours of 9:30 PM on 8-22-05 and
6:30 AM on 8-23-05 unknown person(s) spread fecal matter on the front and
rear windshield of her car. She
further found that her second vehicle had been entered and her Kenwood
stereo faceplate, sunglasses, and tanning oil had been removed.
August
23 – Two
15-year-old juveniles were arrested for burglary. The two juveniles were
stopped at about 11:20 PM for being in the Skateboard Park after it was
closed. The officer transported them to the police department to contact
their parents. Meanwhile another officer was dispatched to the 200 block of
Alder St for a break in at the Lions Club fireworks stand. The officer saw
that someone had forced opened the door causing about $400.00 in damages. A
witness contacted the officer and told him that he heard the banging coming
from the fireworks stand a few minutes prior to the officer that picked up
the two kids at the Skateboard Park, which is directly across the street.
The officer went back to the station and confronted the two juveniles. The
girl admitted they broke into the building. The boy was questioned and he
also admitted he too had broken into the building. Both juveniles were
transported and booked into Remann Hall.

office is investigation a possible animal cruelty case in which a dog may
have been poisoned.

21-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for physical control of a motor
vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and for no vehicle driver’s
license. The arresting officer saw the suspect at the intersection of Carter
St and Washington Ave. The officer recognized the driver from previous law
enforcement contacts and knew the driver did not have a driver’s license.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested. During the stop the
officer determined the driver had been drinking. He was given a portable
breath test and failed. He was cited and later released.
August
25 – An
officer had to dispatch an injured deer that had been hit by a log truck in
the 44000 block of the Alder Cut Off Road.
August
27 – A
23-year-old Graham man was arrested for DUI.
The arresting officer saw the suspect’s vehicle in the 4200 block
of SR161. As the vehicle passed him he heard that it had a very loud exhaust
system and it had defective lighting. The officer turned on his emergency
lights and followed the suspect who had turned onto Ski Park Road.
The driver continued eastbound on Ski Park Road and finally turned
into the driveway in the 40500 block of Ski Park Road.
The driver was contacted and the officer detected the strong odor of
an alcoholic beverage. The
driver agreed to take a field sobriety test and failed. Because the driver
appeared to be so intoxicated the officer felt it was unsafe for him to
complete any further tests. The suspect was arrested and transported to the
police department for a breath test. The
results were .154 and .156. The
suspect was cited and transported back to his cousin’s residence on Ski
Park Road where he was released. The
suspect’s vehicle was impounded.

July 2 – Someone apparently climbed over the fence at the
Eatonville Public Works equipment yard and stole some copper wire.
July 2 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Jensen Lane
on a reported domestic disturbance. It turned out to be verbal only. A
report was written as required by law.
July 4 – A 28-year-old Graham man was arrested for driving with a
suspended license. The arresting officer while monitoring traffic in the 100
block of Washington Ave ran the suspects license plates on his in car
computer. The records check showed the license plates had expired in 2003
yet the plates had a 2005 tab. The vehicle was stopped and the driver
advised the reason for the stop. The driver admitted he did not have a
license or insurance. A records check showed that his license was suspended
in the 1st degree. He
was arrested, cited and later released. His 2005 tabs were confiscated.
July 5 – A 24-year-old Eatonville man was charged with driving with
a suspended license. The suspect was observed driving in the 300 block of
Center St. The arresting officer knew that the driver did not have a
license. The vehicle was stopped and the driver arrested. He was cited and
later released.
July 9 – An 80-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had
broken out the rear window to his van.
July 10 – A 28-year-old Eatonville woman reported she had been
getting harassing phone calls.
July 11 – Two 22-year-old Eatonville men were arrested on warrants
for their arrest. At about 2:40AM the arresting officer saw the suspect
riding double on a ATV without any lighting on Orville Road just off SR161.
They were stopped a short distance away. A records check showed one man had
a $500 Eatonville Municipal Court warrant for his arrest and the other man
had three warrants out of Pierce County totaling $12,000. Both suspect were
arrested and transported to jail.
July 8 – The Town of Eatonville received a counterfeit $100 bill.
The bill was determined to be counterfeit after it was turned into Key Bank
with the Town’s deposit. The bill wasn’t checked with a detection pen
upon receipt so there is no way of telling who passed the counterfeit bill.
July 13 – A 34-year-old Yelm man was arrested for negligent driving
1st degree. The arresting officer was parked in the 200 block of
Washington Ave N. As the suspect pulled up along side the officer, he
suddenly floored the gas and speed up rapidly and then breaking sharply to
avoid a driver ahead of him that was doing the speed limit. The driver was
stopped. The officer detected the odor of intoxicants. The driver agreed to
take a field sobriety test and passed the tests marginally. A portable
breath tester showed his blood alcohol level to be .067. He was cited for
negligent driving and released. His vehicle was impounded.
July 14 – A 41-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for possession of
meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license
3rd degree. The arresting officer while parked at Ski Park Road
and SR161 saw the suspect pass his location. He ran the vehicles plates on
his in car computer. The records check showed the owner had a suspended
license. The suspect was stopped and the driver was the registered owner. He
was arrested. During a search a meth pipe was found in his pants pocket.
Inside the vehicle a small quantity of meth was found along with ten zip
lock bags with meth residue. The suspect was booked into PC jail.
July 15 – A 21-year-old Eatonville man and his 14-year-old
girlfriend were arrested. The man had a felony drug warrant for his arrest.
His girl friend had a pot pipe in her pocket.
The arresting officers were told that the suspect could be found
camping at the “Beaver Slide” just off the Alder Cut Off Road. When the
officer arrived at the location they saw a blue tent. The officers
identified themselves and ordered the man out of the tent. He was arrested
on the warrant. The girl was asked if she had anything on her that the
officer needed to know about? She reached into her pocket and handed the
officer a pot pipe. The man was transported to PC Jail, the girl was charged
with possession of drug paraphernalia and was later released to her mother.
July 15 – A 52-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for drinking
while in physical control of a motor vehicle, drinking in a park and for
resisting arrest. The arresting officer was dispatched to the Alder Street
Park – Skate Board Park for an unruly man that had been drinking. When the
officer arrived he saw the suspect sitting inside his vehicle with the
engine running. The driver when contacted smelled of intoxicants and showed
obvious signs of intoxication. A witness was contacted and said the suspect
was drinking beer inside the park and the more he drank the louder and
obnoxious he became. The suspect admitted he had been drinking beer and had
thrown the empty beer can in the trash. The suspect when told he was under
arrest became very aggressive and refused to put his hand behind his back.
He then physically resisted the officer when he attempted to place him in
handcuffs. The officer was forced to pull his Taser and again order the man
to comply. Finally the man complied and was placed in handcuffs. The suspect
was placed in the back of a patrol car where he continued to threaten to
kick the officer’s a__. He was cited and later released to his wife.
July
16 – Officers
were dispatched to the 100 blk Rainier Ave S. for a domestic.
Upon arrival the Officer discovered that there was a verbal argument
only. The Officer did a stand
by and departed the scene.
July
17- Officers
were dispatched to the 100 blk Lynch Creed St. E. for a possible domestic.
The Officers discovered that it was verbal only and that the female
half had departed. The Officers
departed.
July
18 – An
Officer was dispatched to the 100 blk Bergren Rd. N. for a possible
domestic. Upon arrival the
Officer discovered that it had been verbal only.
The Officer performed a civil stand by until the parties had
separated. The Officer then
departed.

18 – An
Officer was contacted at the Police Department by a 55 year old Puyallup man
that had attempted suicide by cutting his wrist.
The Officer got medical aid to the scene and the man was flown to the
Hospital due to the loss of blood. The
man was later identified as a missing endangered person.

20 – A
34-year-old Graham man was arrested on a $1,000 Puyallup warrant for his
arrest. The suspect was stopped at Orville Rd and SR161 after he appeared to
be in distress. It turned out he was intoxicated. A records check showed he
had a $1,000 warrant for his arrest for malicious mischief. He was
transported and booked into Puyallup City jail.

73-year-old Arizona man reported that he lost his cell phone at the Plaza
Market.

21 – A
59-year-old Eatonville woman was cited for a barking dog, which is a
misdemeanor criminal charge after her neighbor complained their neighbor’s
three dogs were barking constantly.

20-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for UPCS paraphernalia and a $500.00
warrant. The man was stopped by
an Officer for a traffic infraction. Upon
contact the man admitted that his driver license was suspended. A records check confirmed a $500.00 Tacoma warrant.
The man was arrested and placed into the Police vehicle.
A search of the vehicle incident to arrest revealed a smoking device
commonly used for smoking Marijuana. The
man was transported to Fife jail and booked on the warrant.
The man was cited for the DWLS and the possession of the
paraphernalia.
July
22 – A
59-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had climbed through her
kitchen window, walked to the living room where they unlocked the front door
and let her dog outside. The suspect then relocked the front door, walked
back to the kitchen and climbed back out the window. The victim feels the
suspect let her dog out so the police would cite her for a barking dog.
July
24 – A
20-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for Assault 3rd degree,
Resisting arrest, and Reckless driving.
The Officer stopped the man for speeding.
During the stop the Officer was contacted by two Eatonville citizens
complaining that the stopped vehicle had passed in a no passing zone nearly
causing an accident with them and another vehicle.
The man was placed under arrest.
While attempting to place the man into the Police vehicle the man
began knee striking the Officer. The
Officer was hit several times in the ribs by the man.
The man was taken to the ground and tazed to stop his attack on the
Officer. The man was
transported to Pierce County Jail and booked on the charges.
July
24 – A
19-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for assault 4th Degree
DV and MIP. The Officer was
called to a residence in the 100 blk Washington Ave. N. for a report of a
Domestic Violence situation. Upon
arrival the Officer looked through the front window and saw the woman and
her mother physically fighting on the floor.
The Officer entered the residence and took control of the 19 year
old. It was discovered that the
19 year old had been to a party. Upon
returning home she became verbally abusive and wanted to leave. When the mother attempted to stop her she began to fight for
key to the mother’s vehicle. The
19 year old was booked into Pierce County Jail.
July
24 – A
42-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DWLS 1st Degree.
The Officer stopped the man driving a vehicle that had been reported
as “Casing houses.” Upon contact the man said that he did not have a driver
license and produced a Washington state ID.
A records check revealed that the man was suspended in the 1st
degree as a habitual offender. The
man was booked into Fife jail. The
vehicle was driven from the scene by a licensed driver that was a passenger.
July
31 – An
Officer was dispatched to the intersection of Washington Ave. and Center St.
E. for a MVC. The Officer
discovered that at 26 year old California woman failed to stop for the stop
sign while traveling north on Washington Ave.
She struck a Eatonville woman that was traveling westbound on Center
St. E. The California woman was
cited for failing to stop.

June 1 – A 12 and a 13-year-old middle school boy got into a
physical fight. Apparently some words were exchanged between the two boys.
The 12-year-old punched the other boy twice. The younger boy said he was
acting in self-defense. The officer agreed. However, a report was sent to
Remann Hall for review.
June 2 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Washington
Ave S on a reported domestic. Upon arrival it was determined to be verbal
only. A report was written as required by law.
June 2 – The owner of NAPA Auto Parts reported that someone had
climbed onto the roof of the business and dropped down into a fenced in area
used to store bulk oil. He didn’t know if anything was stolen.
June 3 – An elementary school student made threats against school
staff. An incident report was sent to Remann Hall for review and possible
criminal charging.
June 5 – A 17-year-old Burien boy was charged with reckless driving
after two Eatonville men reported the boy was driving in a reckless manner.
The two men called Fife dispatchers and reported they were being tailgated
by a carload of people. As the vehicles entered the town limits an officer
saw that a car was so close to the back of a truck that he could not see the
cars headlights. The suspect was stopped, as were the two victims. The
victims said the incident started when they attempted to pass a slower
moving car on muck creek hill. The driver of the car sped up and would not
let them pass. As the victims were turning onto the Eatonville Cut Off the
suspect continued southbound. But immediately made a U-turn and turned back
onto the cut off road. The victim’s said the suspect passed a truck so he
was back behind them. They said the suspect then began to tailgate them. The
suspect was arrested, cited and later released to the custody of his
parents.

6 – A
23-year-old Eatonville woman reported a vehicle prowl/theft. The Woman had parked her vehicle on 6-5-05 during the
evening. She discovered that
her purse was missing along with several medications at around 0600 hrs.
6-6-05. The woman gave officers
the name of a possible suspect.
June
6 – A
14-year-old Eatonville girl was arrested for domestic violence assault after
she punched her boyfriend in the mouth with a closed fist causing a cut to
his lip. The girl was
transported to Remann Hall and booked on the charge.

7 – An
Officer responded to a two-car collision at the intersection of Wild Rose
Rd. W. and Ski Park Rd E. The
Officer could not determine who was at fault due to the limited visibility
in the area and the road conditions. No
injuries were reported at the scene.

7 – An
18-year-old Eatonville woman reported that her vehicle had been vandalized.
The hood of the woman’s vehicle had been scratched and dented by
what appeared to be a skateboard. There
are no suspects at the time.

8 – A 21-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for a warrant.
The Officer saw the man walking in the 300-block Center St. E.
The Officer recognized the man from previous contacts and made a
check on his in car computer, which revealed a $2500.00.
The man was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail

15-year-old Eatonville boy was arrested for making threats to kill.
The boy became upset with his teacher after she confiscated items
that he was disturbing the class with.
He then began using profanity and said that when he returned to
school he would “shoot teachers.” The boy was released to his mother and the case was forwarded
to Remann hall for charging.
June
8 – An
18-year-old Eatonville man reported that his vehicle had been vandalized.
The man said that he parked his vehicle at the Eatonville High
School. When he returned to his
truck he found that there were several scratches in the paint.
There were no witnesses to the act and no suspects at this time.
June 9 – A 30-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI. The
suspect’s vehicle was clocked on radar at 64MPH in a posted 50MPH zone.
The suspect was stopped and the driver contacted and the smell of
intoxicants was very strong. He was asked if he had been drinking? He said
he had a couple of beers. He agreed to take a field sobriety test and failed
all tests given. He was arrested for DUI and transported to the police
station for a breath test. Once at the station he refused to take the breath
test. His was cited and later transported home.
June 10 – A 13-year-old middle school boy was charged with
assaulting another student. The suspect deliberately pushed the other boy
onto the sidewalk hurting his leg and arm. A case report was sent to Remann
Hall for review and possible criminal charging.

45-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for DUI.
The suspect’s vehicle was stopped for possible DUI due to it’s
driving. Upon contact the
Officer’s detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the man.
The man was transported to the Eatonville Police Department where he
was further processed. The man
refused to give a breath sample or answer any questions.
He was cited and transported to his home.
June
11 – A
71-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for Assault 4 DV.
The Officers responded to a call of a Domestic assault.
Upon contact with the victim they were informed that the man and
woman had been playing cards when the man became upset about loosing.
The man then struck the woman on the top of the head with an open
hand. The man was later
contacted at his residence and said that he had tapped her on the head.
The man was arrested and booked into the Fife Jail.
June
12 – Officers
responded at the request of the Eatonville Fire Department to an aid call.
Upon arrival the Officers made contact with the Fire Fighters.
They were informed that a juvenile son had called 911 for assistance
with his mother. Upon seeing
the Officers the woman became very agitated and aggressive.
The Officer’s located a safe place for the child to stay for the
evening and contacted CPS for an evaluation.

12 – An
Eatonville Officer assisted the Pierce County Sheriff process a DUI.
The 45 year old Roy man was brought to the Eatonville P. D. where the
Officer administered the SFSTs. The
man gave two breath samples of .126/.126.
The Deputy then transported the man away.

13 – Someone
broke the upstairs window of an apartment in the 100 block of Mashell Ave N.
It appears the suspect(s) did not gain entry to the apartment.
June
15 – A
19-year-old high school student was northbound on SR161. It appears that he
was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control of his car. He
started fishtailing and struck a van full of disabled adults that was
southbound on SR 161. Three of the five persons in the van were injured.
They were transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The suspect was
cited for reckless driving.
June
17 – A
20-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for assault and minor in
possession/consumption of alcohol. A 26-year-old Eatonville man stopped an
officer and complained that he was inside the Mill Village Chevron when for
no apparent reason an unknown man “shoulder checked” him. He said he
didn’t want any trouble so he ignored it. As he was waiting in the check
out line the suspect walked up behind him and for no reason head butted him
in the face. The victim said he left the store to avoid getting into a fight
with the suspect. The suspect was contacted at the Chevron and was arrested
for assault. The suspect had been drinking and was also charged with MIP.
June
18 – An
Eatonville boy who lives in the 200 block of Oak St. reported that someone
had stole his bike. The boy said the bike is a blue mountain bike valued at
about $150.00.

27-year-old Eatonville woman was involuntary committed to Good Sam Hospital
for a mental evaluation after taking a drug over dose of prescription
medication.

19 – A
25-year-old Bellevue man is suspected of damaging a door to the Mill Village
Motel. Investigation continues.
June
20 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man was arrested on a felony warrant for his arrest
for burglary. The suspect entered the police department on an unrelated
incident. A records check showed that he had the burglary arrest warrant as
well as another arrest warrant for theft 3rd. The suspect was
arrested on the warrants and booked into PC Jail.
June
21 – A
48-year-old Puyallup man was charged with being in physical control of a
motor vehicle while drinking, reckless endangerment and for having an open
container of alcohol. The suspect was observed by an Eatonville Elementary
School staff member drinking a beer in the parking lot of the elementary
school. This was the last day of school and the parking lot was full of
children and parents. The charging officer felt that the suspects drinking
created a substantial risk to the children present should he drive away
after drinking in his vehicle. An incident report was forwarded to the
prosecutor for review.
June
23 – A
21-year-old homeless man was arrested for furnishing alcohol to a
15-year-old girl. The mother of the girl returned home and found her
daughter vomiting and very sick due to alcohol ingestion. The girl told her
mother and a witness that she had given the suspect $30.00 to go to the
liquor store and by them some alcohol. He returned with a fifth of R&R
and a bottle of Rum. She said they drank both bottles. The girl was so
intoxicated she was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. The suspect was
found passed out in a driveway in the 100 block of Carter St. He was
arrested and later booked into Fife City Jail.
June
25 – A
35-year-old Eatonville man was charged with malicious mischief. A 6-year-old
boy was playing in front of his residence at the Mill Village Mobile Home
Park. The suspect walked up to the boy and grabbed a toy sword out of his
hands and broke it across his knee. He then walked over to the boy’s
mother and began yelling at her that children shouldn’t be playing with
swords and that he didn’t believe in her religion. The man then left. When
officers arrived they were unable to get the suspect to come to door of his
residence.
June
25 - Two
18-year-old men and a 16-year-old Eatonville boy were arrested for minor in
possession of alcohol. The driver of a car was stopped in the 41900 block of
SR161 for defective equipment. When the arresting officer contacted the
driver he noticed a case of beer on the floor in the back seat of the car
that was still cold. The driver and occupants were arrested, cited and later
released.
June
26 – A
45-year-old man and a 35-year-old Eatonville man were charged with
disorderly conduct. Officers were dispatched to the Mill Village Trailer
Park on a reported fight. When they arrived the saw a man walking towards
them with obvious signs of being in a fight. He said that he and a friend
got into a fight. While talking with the man the other suspect drove past.
The suspect was stopped in front of the Blue Moon Pub where he was arrested
for disorderly conduct. While talking with the suspect he smelled of
intoxicants and was subsequently arrested for negligent driving 1st
degree. The other suspect was re-contacted and was also arrested for
disorderly conduct. Both were cited and later released.
June
26 – A
24-year-old Puyallup man was arrested for DUI. The arresting officer while
northbound on SR161 saw two suspicious vehicles parked across from
Eatonville Towing. When the officer turned around one of the cars pulled out
and passed the officer. The officer stopped to contact the driver of the
other vehicle. As he was parking his patrol car the other vehicle had
apparently turn around and pulled in behind the patrol car. The driver got
out of his car and appeared to be intoxicated. When contacted he was so
intoxicated he couldn’t understand what the officers were saying to him.
He was arrested and transported to the police department for a breath test.
The results of the breath test were .173 and .172. He was cited and later
released to friends.
June
28 – A
27-year-old Sumner man was arrested for possession of Methadone pills and
for driving with a suspended license. The arresting officer saw the suspect
driving in the 100 block of Center St. He noticed that the driver was not
wearing his seat belt. He ran the suspect’s license number on his in car
computer. The records check showed that the vehicle’s color should have
been white, it was in fact yellow. The vehicle was stopped and the driver
advised the reason for the stop. A records check showed that the driver had
several warrants for his arrest and that his license was suspended 2nd
degree. He was arrested and during a search of the car a pill bottle
containing 30 Methadone pills were found. The suspect was transported and
booked into PC jail.
June
26 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for resisting arrest, possession of
marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and for a $5000 warrant for his
arrest. The suspect was stopped on Ski Park Road for expired tabs. A records
check showed he had a domestic violence assault warrant for his arrest. The
arresting officer advised the suspect he was under arrest and as he was
placing him in handcuffs the suspect tried to pull away and took a swing at
the officer. The officer and the suspect struggled until the officer was
able to get the suspect handcuffed. During a search of the car a pot pipe
and some marijuana was found in the glove box. The suspect was booked into
PC Jail.

1 - Eatonville
Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of
Washington Ave and Center St. E. Investigation
revealed that a 43-year-old Indiana man failed to stop for the stop sign and
struck a vehicle making a left turn. The
driver of the vehicle making the left turn was transported to Good Sam
Hospital for evaluation. The
Indiana man was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and released.
May
3 – A
bicycle was found and turned into the Eatonville Police Department for
safekeeping.
May
3 – The
police department is investigating an allege assault at the Elementary
School.
May

46-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for violation of a court order and
possession of Meth. The
Officers were contacted by the victim who had a valid court order
restraining the suspect from coming within 150 feet of his residence.
The suspect had been evicted previously and had no purpose for being
there. The suspect was seen
moving items from a storage unit and staring into the window of the
victim’s residence. Officers
located the man at another residence. Upon
contact he was advised he was under arrest. While talking with the suspect
he was seen attempting to discard a syringe with Methamphetamines.
The suspect was booked into Pierce County Jail on the charges.
May
4 – Police
were called to 201 Rainier Ave N after a tenant found a black bag containing
syringes and other drug paraphernalia in a storage unit used as a junk room.
The paraphernalia was taken and later destroyed.
May
4 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for felony harassment, possession of
marijuana and possession of a dangerous weapon. The suspect reportedly
threatened to burn the victim’s house down with her in it after he was
told he was no longer welcomed at the residence. He then threatened to break
out all the windows in her SUV with an ASP (metal police night stick). The
suspect then departed the area. He was later arrested in the 400 block of
Lynch St W. During a search the ASP was found in his pants pocket along with
a partially smoked marijuana cigarette. The suspect was later booked into PC
Jail.
May
4 – A
69-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI. The arresting officer
stopped the suspect in the 100 block of Weyerhaeuser Rd N for erratic
driving. The suspect was contacted and advised the reason for the stop. When
asked if he had been drinking he said he had two beers. He was asked and
agreed to take a field sobriety test. He failed all tests given and was
arrested for DUI. He was taken to the police station for a breath test. The
results were .149 and .142. He was cited and later released.
May
5 – The
police department is investigating an alleged assault at the high school.
May
6 – A
13-year-old middle school girl was charged with assaulting another girl at
school. A report was sent to Remann Hall for review and possible criminal
charging.
May
6 – Officers were called to a residence for a report of a
Domestic dispute. The Officer
arrived and found a 37-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man, both homeless,
in a verbal dispute. Both
parties calmed down and left the area.
May
7 – A
46-year-old homeless man was arrested for vandalism and criminal trespass.
The suspect who suffers from a compulsive excessive type A personality
decided he was going to do some weeding in the 400 block of Lynch St W.
Unfortunately he got carried away and decided he would prune a very large
lilac bush. When he finished pruning the bush he had hollowed out the entire
backside causing considerable damage. He then decided to make himself a camp
out of the bush. He went into the garage on the property and took pieces of
wood to line the ground under the bush and put a tarp over it to keep dry.
When questioned by officers he said he made the camp to get out of the wind
so he could smoke. He was arrested and booked into Fife City Jail.
May
9 – An Officer investigated a one-car accident.
The Officer was dispatched to the Eatonville Childcare in the 500
block of Center St. A
39-year-old Eatonville woman dropped her kids off at the daycare. When she
got back into her car she looked over her right shoulder putting the car
into gear and pressed the gas pedal. Instead of putting the car into reverse
she had put the car into drive. The car propelled forward jumped over the
sidewalk and crashed into the building. No one was injured.
May
10 – Four Eatonville citizens reported that someone had
broken into their cars during the night and stole property from inside. One
suspect has been positively identified and a warrant for his arrest will be
issued.
May
13 – Police
were called to the middle school after two boys were seen looking inside the
girl’s locker room. After investigating the incident it turns out that two
girls pushed the two boys into the locker room. This is no longer a police
matter and the case was closed out as unfounded. The middle school will take
necessary discipline action on the two girls for their part in this
incident.
May
13 – An
abandoned trailer was impounded from the 100 block of Madison Ave. S.
May
14 – An
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Center St. E. for a report of a
possible domestic dispute. The
Officer made contact with both parties and determined that it was only a
verbal dispute. Both Parties
separated for the evening.

15 – A
26-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had stolen three rifles and
a law mower from his residence in the 100 block of Magill Rd N. The victim
suspects his 22-year-old former roommate. Investigation continues.

18 – An
Officer took a child into protective custody and placed her in a receiving
home. Child Protective Services is continuing the investigation.
May
19 – A
59-year-old Eatonville woman was cited for a nuisance animal violation after
neighbors complained about her barking dogs. The suspect had been warned
several times by officers to do something about the dogs.
May
19 – A
46-year-old homeless man was arrested in front of the Plaza Market on five
Eatonville Municipal Court warrants for his arrest. The suspect when taken
into custody was in possession of a cloth bag containing twelve syringes and
a medal spoon. When asked what the syringes were for he said, “Everybody
knows what I use them for”. “You guys know I shoot meth”. The
additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was added. He was
transported and booked into Fife City jail.
May
20 – Offers
investigated an assault at the elementary school involving two boys. The
report was sent to Remann Hall for review and possible criminal charging.

20 – A 30-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DWLS 2nd.
The Officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound crossing the fog
line repeatedly. The Officer
stopped the vehicle. Upon
contact the man did not appear intoxicated.
The Officer conducted a records check revealed the man was suspended
in the 2nd degree for DUI. The
man was arrested, cited and released. The
man’s vehicle was towed.
May
23 – A 28-year-old Spanaway man was arrested for DUI. The suspect was observed
speeding 70MPH in a work zone in the 17600 block of SR161. The vehicle was
stopped and the driver was contacted. The driver appeared to be intoxicated
and agreed to take a field sobriety test. He failed all tests given. The
suspect was arrested and transported to the Pierce County Sheriff’s South
Hill Office for a breath test. He later refused the breath test. He was
cited and released.
May
25 – A 12-year-old middle school boy was charged with tampering with a fire
alarm. The boy pulled the fire alarm intentionally. His mother could not be
located so he was released back to school officials. Case to Remann Hall for
criminal charging.

25 – A 34-year-old Packwood man was arrested for DUI. The suspect was observed
at the intersection of Washington Ave and Center St. The arresting officer
was contacted by a citizen who pointed out the suspect’s car and said the
driver was drunk. The officer pulled in behind the suspect and watched his
driving ability. It was obvious that he was intoxicated. The vehicle was
stopped and the driver contacted. The driver admitted he had been drinking
and agreed to take a field sobriety test. He failed all tests given. He was
arrested and transported to the police station for a breath test. The
results were .139 and .125. He was cited and was later transported home.
May
26 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Mashell Ave S on a possible
domestic. It turned out to be two neighbors living in the Mashell Ave S
Apartments arguing over one of them smoking inside his apartment and the
smoke drifting up into his apartment. The argument was verbal and not
physical.
May 27 – A 13 and a 14-year-old middle school boy were arrested for
theft of a $300.00 Sony portable Play Station. The Play Station was later
recovered at one of the boy’s residence and returned to the victim. Case
to Remann Hall for review and criminal charging.
May 27 – A 31-year-old Everson, Washington man was arrested on a
Bellingham felony warrant for his arrest for eluding a police officer. The
suspect was stopped in the 200 block of Center Street for a seat belt
violation. The suspect at first gave the officer a false name and date of
birth. When a records check showed no computer record of the name he gave he
decided to tell the truth. The records check showed he had a warrant for his
arrest. He was transported and booked into PC Jail.
May 29 – A 25-year-old Eatonville woman reported someone had stolen
her 1994 Ford Aerostar from her residence. The vehicle was later recovered
by the PCSO. The victim has identified a possible suspect who is well known
by local law enforcement. Investigation continues.

23 – A 28-year-old Spanaway man was arrested for DUI. The suspect was observed

25 – A 34-year-old Packwood man was arrested for DUI. The suspect was observed
at the intersection of Washington Ave and Center St. The arresting officer
was contacted by a citizen who pointed out the suspect’s car and said the
driver was drunk. The officer pulled in behind the suspect and watched his
driving ability. It was obvious that he was intoxicated. The vehicle was
stopped and the driver contacted. The driver admitted he had been drinking
and agreed to take a field sobriety test. He failed all tests given. He was
arrested and transported to the police station for a breath test. The
results were .139 and .125. He was cited and was later transported home.
May
26 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Mashell Ave S on a possible
domestic. It turned out to be two neighbors living in the Mashell Ave S
Apartments arguing over one of them smoking inside his apartment and the
smoke drifting up into his apartment. The argument was verbal and not
physical.
May 27 – A 13 and a 14-year-old middle school boy were arrested for
theft of a $300.00 Sony portable Play Station. The Play Station was later
recovered at one of the boy’s residence and returned to the victim. Case
to Remann Hall for review and criminal charging.
May 27 – A 31-year-old Everson, Washington man was arrested on a
Bellingham felony warrant for his arrest for eluding a police officer. The
suspect was stopped in the 200 block of Center Street for a seat belt
violation. The suspect at first gave the officer a false name and date of
birth. When a records check showed no computer record of the name he gave he
decided to tell the truth. The records check showed he had a warrant for his
arrest. He was transported and booked into PC Jail.
May 29 – A 25-year-old Eatonville woman reported someone had stolen
her 1994 Ford Aerostar from her residence. The vehicle was later recovered
by the PCSO. The victim has identified a possible suspect who is well known
by local law enforcement. Investigation continues.

1 – A
16-year-old high school girl was arrested for theft. The suspect stole a
wallet belonging to another student. The wallet was later found inside her
backpack. However, the victim’s driver’s license, a debit card and about
$25.00 were missing. The suspect admitted to stealing the wallet and told
police where to find the missing items. A search of the area was conducted
however, only the debit card could be found. The suspect was later released
to her parents. A report was sent to Remann Hall for review and criminal
charging.
April
1 – A
22-year-old Eatonville man was arrested on three Eatonville Municipal Court
warrants for his arrest. The arresting officer saw the suspect as he entered
the Mill Village Chevron. Knowing he had the three warrants for his arrest
the officer took him into custody as he came out of the store. He was
transported and booked into Fife City Jail.
April
1 – A
middle school staff member reported that twice this week someone had damaged
her car while it was parked in the parking lot at the middle school. The
first time the suspect(s) broke the glass in the sunroof. The second time
two large dents were made in the roof with rocks. Both incidents occurred
either during school hours or right after school was out.

2 – A
15-year-old Eatonville boy was picked up for being a runaway and he was
charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a pot pipe was found in
his pocket. The boy was reported as a runaway earlier in the day. An officer
while on patrol in the 200 block of Mashell Ave S saw the suspect. He was
detained and his runaway status was confirmed. During a search a pot pipe
was found in his pants pocket. He was cited and later released to his
parents. A report was sent to Remann Hall for review and criminal charging.

5 – A
46-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for criminal trespass. On April 3rd
the suspect was told that the owner of the Blue Moon Pub no longer wanted
him in the business. The arresting officer had advised him he was no longer
allowed in the business and if he went back to the business he would be
arrested for trespassing. The suspect said he understood. On April 5th
the suspect entered the Blue Moon and after sticking his tongue out at
everyone he left. The suspect was stopped by the arresting officer and
reminded him of their conversation two days earlier about not going inside
the business. The suspect was arrested and booked into Fife City Jail.

5 – A
22 and a 26-year-old Eatonville man were arrested for residential burglary,
possession of stolen property, malicious mischief and possession of drug
paraphernalia. A witness saw the suspects breaking into the residence of a
46-year-old Eatonville who had just been arrested for criminal trespass. The
suspects used a pocketknife to force the front door open. One of the men
went inside and took property belonging to the victim while the other man
stood watch outside. An officer arrested both men as they were leaving the
residence. The stolen property was recovered. A glass pot pipe was found in
pocket of one of the men. The 22-year-old also had a felony warrant for his
arrest for possession of stolen property.

13-year-old Eatonville boy was charged with Malicious Mischief after he
deliberately damaged a skateboard belong to another boy. He was later
released to his parents. A report was sent to Remann Hall for review and
criminal charging.

46-year-old Eatonville woman reported that she was walking on her treadmill
while looking out a large window on the north side of her Dow Ridge home saw
a red object trailing fire streak past her window and then heard glass
breaking. She checked her home and found that something had hit her TV
exploding the picture tube bounded off the ceiling and struck her chandelier
in the living room breaking several glass pains. Officers were dispatched
and found a bullet hole in the wall on the second floor. The bullet then hit
their TV and broke into two pieces. One piece hit the ceiling and landed on
the upstairs carpet melting a small hole. The other piece hit the ceiling
and then bounced off striking a very large chandelier in the living room.
Some of the bullet fragments were recovered in the house. An officer doing a
follow up investigation on the shooting incident climbed a ladder and
sighting down a trajectory probe saw that the bullet had came from a
residence in the 41900 block of SR161. The officer contacted the homeowner
who at first denied shooting or hearing anyone shooting the night before.
When the officer picked up a spent 308-caliber shell casing off the ground
he turned to the suspect and said, “I think we need to talk”. The
suspect admitted he and his friend had shot a tracer round out of his new
308-caliber rifle. The rifle, a box of tracer ammo and the spent casing were
taken as evidence. Both suspects admitted they shot the rifle up in the air
to watch the tracer round. They said they did not realize they were shooting
toward homes located on the hill above their residence. Both men were
charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and released.

7 – A
46-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for violation of an anti-harassment
court order just hours after he was released from the Fife City Jail on a
criminal trespassing charge. The suspect was served the anti-harassment
order while he was in jail. He was ordered not to come with 25 feet of the
victims or their residence. The suspect was seen walking and standing next
to the victim’s residence looking up at their apartment. This was a clear
violation of the court order. The suspect was arrested at his residence.
While one officer was talking to the suspect outside his apartment another
officer saw a female inside the apartment. When he stepped up onto the porch
to tell her to come outside he saw in plain view a pot pipe on the bed. The
pipe was taken as evidence. The suspect signed a consent to search of his
apartment without a warrant. During the search other items of drug
paraphernalia were recovered. He was arrested for possession of drug
paraphernalia. He was later booked into Fife City Jail.

9 – A
58-year-old Graham man was arrested for driving with a suspended license for
being a habitual offender. The arresting officer was parked in the 600 block
of SR161 monitoring traffic. He saw a vehicle approaching that appeared to
be doing well under the posted 50MPH speed zone. He clocked the vehicle at
20MPH. Thinking the suspect may be intoxicated he followed the suspect as he
turned onto Orville Road. The suspect was stopped and when asked for his
driver’s license he said his license was suspended. A records check
verified the suspension. The man was arrested and later transported to his
residence. His vehicle was impounded.

9 – A
45-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for forgery and theft 3.
Police were notified that a white male had passed counterfeit money
at a local business. The
employees provided a good description and video images of the suspect. The employees also got a vehicle description to include a
license plate number. A check
of the license plate showed that the vehicle was a listed stolen. Pierce County Sheriffs’ Deputies stopped the vehicle and
arrested both occupants. The
officers positively identified the man from the video.
The man also had a felony warrant for escape.
The man was booked into Pierce County Jail.
April
11 – A
22-year-old Graham man was arrested for no valid operators license without
ID. The man was stopped for expired tabs. The man said that he did not have a driver’s license or
insurance. The man was
arrested, cited, and released. The
man’s vehicle was impounded.
April
12 – An
18-year-old Elbe woman was reported as missing by her mother.
The mother reported that she felt the woman had gone to Texas.
The officer entered the woman as missing and received a contact from
San Antonio Police Department verifying that she had been stopped there and
was OK.

13 – A
36-year-old Eatonville woman reported that her vehicle had been damaged
while parked at the Eatonville Middle School.
The damage was done with a rock.
Estimated cost to repair $500.00.
There are no suspects at this time.

16-year-old Puyallup boy was arrested for felony warrants, disorderly
conduct and making false statements to law enforcement.
Two 15-year-old Eatonville boys were arrested for disorderly conduct,
obstructing a law enforcement officer, and harboring a runaway. A 14-year-old Eatonville boy reported that the three boys had
approached him at the high school in an attempt to fight him over an alleged
remark he made about one of the boys. The
victim evaded the other boys by getting on the school bus.
The arresting officer found the 16-year-old hiding in a clump of tall
grass at Smallwood Park. The suspect gave him a false name and date of
birth. The boy was not taken into custody at the time because the officer
was still investigating the threats complaint and didn’t realize at the
time the suspect had given him a false name. Later that day after some
investigation the officer discovered the suspects true identity and that he
had two felony warrants for his arrest, one for burglary 2nd
degree, the other for malicious mischief 1st and 2nd
degree as well as being a runaway. The suspect was arrested at a mobile home
in the 200 block of Mashell Ave S. The other two boys were contacted and
advised they were being arrested for giving the arresting officer false
information and for disorderly conduct. All three were booked into Remann
Hall.

14 – A
31-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for a $5,000.00 domestic violence
assault warrant. The arresting
officer stopped the man for an equipment violation.
At the time of the stop the man stated that he did not have a license
and that he had a warrant. The
officer confirmed he had a Tacoma Municipal Court warrant for his arrest for
domestic violence. The man was
arrested and booked into Pierce County Jail.
The vehicle was left at the scene due to a licensed driver responding
and removing it.

14 – A
37-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for not having a driver’s
license. The 43-year-old passenger was cited for allowing an
unauthorized person to operate a motor vehicle and forgery of a state
temporary license plate. The
officer stopped the vehicle on Wild Rose Rd for expired tabs.
Upon contact the female said that she did not have a driver license.
This was confirmed through a records check.
The male passenger stated that the vehicle was his and showed a
copied temporary license plate. The officer did a records check and found that the temporary
plate was a fake. The vehicle
was towed due to no licensed operator in the area.
The case has been forwarded for filing of charges.

juvenile boy was arrested for indecent exposure. The boy was arrested and
transported to Remann Hall.

43-year-old Graham man was arrested for a $2500.00 warrant.
The arresting officer saw the man in a parking lot. The officer thought the man was attempting to urinate on the
side of a parked vehicle. The
officer contacted the man at which time he attempted to hide himself.
The man’s pants were unzipped and it appeared as though he was in
fact attempting to urinate. The
man said that he had a warrant for his arrest.
The officer confirmed the warrant through a records check.
The man was transported to the South Hill Precinct where he was
turned over to the Pierce County Sheriffs Deputies.

18 – A
24-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for a $5050.00 warrant.
The arresting officer became suspicious of the suspect after he
repeatedly passed the officer who was on a traffic stop at the time. Each
time the suspect passed the officer he would turn around and come back past
again. The officer stopped the suspect’s vehicle in the 300 block of
Washington Ave. The suspect was
contacted and advised the reason for the stop. The suspect told the officer
that he did not have a valid license. A
records check revealed that he had two warrants out of Orting Municipal
Court for driving without a license without ID and possession of marijuana.
The man was arrested and transported to Buckley Jail and booked on
the warrants. The man was cited
for no driver’s license and no insurance.
April
19 – A
40-year-old Roy man was arrested for two felony warrants and a 25-year-old
Eatonville man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug
paraphernalia. The arresting officer stopped the 25-year-old man’s vehicle
for an obstructed license plate. During
the contact one of the passengers began to act in a manner to cause the
officer alarm. The officer got
the man’s name and conducted a records check, which, revealed he had two
felony warrants for possession of drugs and unlawful manufacture of a
controlled substance. The man
was arrested on the warrants. The
driver of the vehicle then voluntarily gave the officer a small amount of
suspected marijuana and two smoking devices.
The driver was cited and released at the scene.
The 40-year-old was transported to Pierce County Jail and booked on
the warrants.
April
19 – A
23-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for felony elude, driving with a
suspended license and an ignition interlock violation.
A 15-year-old Elbe boy was arrested for minor in possession of
alcohol. The officer attempted to stop the suspect’s vehicle for
speeding 41 MPH in a posted 25MPH zone.
The 23-year-old driver accelerated, driving erratically and failed to
stop. The vehicle then departed
town traveling east on the Alder Cut Off.
A Pierce County Deputy assisted by deploying STOP STICKS. The vehicle made contact with the sticks and eventually
stopped at an address off Lillie Dale Rd.
The driver ran from the vehicle.
The passenger, the 15-year-old, was taken into custody for minor in
possession of alcohol and later released to his mother who confirmed the
identity of the driver. Later
in the evening Pierce County Deputies contacted the officer and informed
them that the driver had called from a residence on Lillie Dale Rd.
The deputy and an officer responded to the residence and made contact
with the occupant. The occupant
initially denied that the man was there.
She allowed them to check the residence and he was found hiding next
to two sleeping children. He
was taken into custody and booked into Pierce County Jail on the charges.

20 – A
25-year-old Eatonville man reported a violation of a court order.
The man said that a 45-year-old man that he had served with a court
order had violated it by walking past him on the same side of the street.
The order stated that the 45 year old could not come within 75 feet
of the 25 year old. The case
has been forwarded to the Prosecutor for filing of charges.

20 – A
17-year-old Eatonville boy was arrested for domestic violence assault. The
suspect’s younger brother came to the police department and reported that
his older brother had been hitting him. He pulled up his shirt and showed
the officer a red mark on his stomach. The older brother was arrested for
domestic violence assault as required by law. He was transported and booked
into Remann Hall.
April
20 – An
18-year-old Roy man was cited for negligent driving after he was caught by
police riding a motorized motorbike inside the bowl at the skateboard park.
The park was full of kids on skateboards at the time. This was clearly a
dangerous act and kids could have been hurt. The suspect was cited and
released his motorbike was impounded.

21 – A
13-year-old middle school girl was arrested for assaulting another student.
The suspect got made when another 13-year-old said something to her younger
brother. This resulted in a verbal argument. The suspect pushed the other
girl into the wall and then began to fight with her. The suspect was later
released back to school officials. A report was sent to Remann Hall for
review and criminal charging.
April
21- A
46-year-old Eatonville man was accused of violating a court order by
pointing at the residence of the victim who has a court ordered
anti-harassment order and for violating the order when he walked within 75
feet of the victim’s apartment in order to get water from an outside
spigot to water his flowers. This is a shaky at best case because the
suspect lives in the same apartment complex as the victim making his
movements difficult at best. However, the order does state he could not do
any of the violations he allegedly committed. A case was sent to the
prosecutor for review.
April
22 – A
11-year-old middle school girl admitted she scratched a boy on the back of
his neck after he reportedly reached over and touched her computer keyboard
messing up her school work. She said when the bell rang she got up and
walked over behind the boy and scratched his neck. Because of her age she
was not arrested. A report will be sent to the prosecutor at Remann Hall for
review and possible criminal charging. The boy was OK. He had two long
scratches to the back of his neck that was bleeding.
April
23 – A
21-year-old Kapowsin man was arrested for DUI, possession of marijuana and
for possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was stopped in the 41400
block of Orville Road for defective lighting. When contacted the driver
appeared to be intoxicated. When asked if he had been drinking he admitted
he had a couple of beers. He agreed to take a field sobriety test and failed
all tests given. He was arrested for DUI and during a search a pot pipe was
found in his pocket. During a search of his vehicle another pot pipe was
found along with a small quantity of marijuana. The suspect was transported
to the police station for a breath test. The results were .088 and .089. The
suspect was cited and later released.
April
24 – Someone
broke into the Eatonville Towing storage yard by cutting a hole in the
fence. Once inside the suspect(s) hot wired a truck and crash it through the
gate causing about $1,500.00 in damages. The truck ran out of gas before
they could get it outside the compound. The suspect(s) also tried to
hot-wire another car in the yard but apparently couldn’t get it started.
Investigation continues.

25 – An
animal cruelty complaint is under investigation.

26 – 34-year-old
Wittmann, AZ man was arrested for DWLS 3rd degree.
The man was stopped in the 41700 block of Ski Park Rd for expired
tabs. The suspect when asked
for identification said he didn’t have any.
Through a records check it was revealed that he had 25 prior
convictions for driving with a suspended license.
The suspect was cited and released
April
27 – A
55-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI.
The arresting officer clocked the suspect speeding in the 800 block
of SR161. The suspect was stopped and advised the reason for the stop.
Upon contact with the Officer the odor of an alcoholic beverage was
detected. The suspect was asked
if he had been drinking? At first he said no then changed his story to yes
he had one beer. He agreed to take a field sobriety test and failed the
first test. He then refused to take any other tests.
The suspect was arrested for DUI and transported to the Eatonville
Police Department for a breath test. The
suspect refused to take the breath test. The suspect was cited and later released.

juvenile high school boy was charged with unwanted touching. A police report
was sent to Remann Hall for review and possible criminal charging.

19-year-old Eatonville man was charged with violating an order for
protection issued by Pierce County Superior Court. The suspect repeatedly
called his ex-girlfriend on her cell phone and was seen parked outside the
high school both of which are violations of the court order. The suspect
later was seen outside the girl’s residence but was gone when police
arrived.

March
2 – Two
16-year-old high school boys were arrested for possession of drug
paraphernalia and taken into custody for truancy. The arresting officer saw
the two boys climbing down a hill onto SR161 from the high school. The
suspects were stopped and admitted they were “Skipping school”. During a
routine search of their backpacks for weapons a pot pipe was found inside
one of the boys pack. He was arrested. The other boy admitted the pipe was
his. He to was arrested. Both boys were later released to school staff for
truancy.
March
2– A
15-year-old Eatonville boy was arrested for domestic violence assault 4th
degree. The boy had thrown his
12-year-old sister to the ground in an argument causing a nosebleed.
The boy was booked into Remann Hall.
March
2- An
18-year-old, 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old Eatonville girl were arrested
for Malicious Harassment. The
arresting officer was dispatched to the LDS Church on Erin Lane.
It was discovered that the three individuals had spray painted three
walls of the church with obscene and threatening language.
The 18-year-old was booked into PC Jail. The 17-year-old was booked
into Remann Hall. Remann Hall Intake staff requested the girl be released to
her mother because she had no prior criminal record. This incident is
considered a “Hate Crime” and as such is a Felony.

4 – A
14-year-old Eatonville girl was picked up in the 100 block of Carter St W.
as a runaway. She was later transported to her residence and released to her
mother.

5 – an
18-year-old Spanaway man was arrested for NVOL without ID.
The Officer made a check of the vehicle’s registration and the
registered owner’s license using his in car computer.
The records check showed that the registered owner did not have an
operator license, only an ID. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was the registered
owner. The driver was arrested,
cited and released. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver that was
inside the vehicle.
March
6 –
A 19 and a 17-year-old Morton girl along with an 18-year-old Eatonville girl
were arrested for minor in possession/consumption of alcohol.
A concerned citizen notified the Officer that 4 young females had
been drinking near a parked blue Ford Probe at the corner of Carter St W and
Penn Ave. The citizen said the girls had gotten into the Ford Probe and
driven off. The arresting officer saw the vehicle pass him and saw that
driver had failed to use its turn signal.
The vehicle was stopped and it was determined that 3 of the four
females had been drinking. All
three were arrested. A search of the car revealed a partially empty fifth of
Rum. The 18 and 19-year-olds were cited and released.
The 17-year-old charged and a case was sent to Remann Hall. She was
later released to her mother.

6 – A
Motor vehicle collision occurred at 126 Washington Ave. N. Upon arrival the Officer determined that the driver of a
pickup truck was unresponsive and appeared to have struck a parked vehicle.
The Eatonville Fire Department responded and rendered aid to the
driver. A records check
revealed that the driver’s license was suspended for 3 prior DUIs.
The driver was transported to St. Claire Hospital by EMS.
Case was sent to the Prosecutor for filing of charges.

6 – A
45-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for possession of drug
paraphernalia. The Officer saw
the suspect walking in the 200 block of Center St. The officer knew the man
had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest for possession of drug
paraphernalia. The Officer stopped the man and during the conversation the
man admitted to having a pot pipe. The
man was cited and released.
March
7 – An
Eatonville woman reported that an unknown person had broken into her
residence. Upon arrival of the
Officer the residence was cleared. The
front door had been forced open. The
woman could not detect if anything had been removed at the time.
No evidence was recovered at the scene.
March
9 – A
16-year-old Eatonville girl was arrested for threats to assault.
The Officer was called to the Eatonville High School.
Upon arrival he interviewed the victim, a 16-year-old girl who said
the other girl had threatened to beat her up.
The suspect was then interviewed in the presence of her father and
stated that she intended to assault the girl.
She was arrested and released to her father.
She was further suspended from school.
Case forwarded to Remann Hall.

9 – A
47-year-old Eatonville man reported someone during the night had entered his
unlocked company truck and his daughter’s unlocked car. Nothing was taken
from the truck but some wiring was cut on the car in what may have been an
attempt to steal the car.

11 – A
14 and a 15-year-old middle school boy were picked up on Lynch St E for
truancy. The boys were seen walking eastbound on Lynch St during school
hours. They were stopped and asked if they belonged in school. One boy said
he was sick and walking home. The other boy said he had been suspended and
was also walking home. The middle school was called and they verified both
boys were skipping school. They were taken into custody and later released
to school staff.

12 – Officers were called to a residence in the 900 block
of Erin Lane for a verbal domestic. Upon
arrival it was determined that the domestic was verbal only.
The Officers attempted to get both parties calmed down then departed.
A report was written as required by law.
March
13 – An Officer responded to a residence in the 900 block
of Erin Lane for a verbal domestic. Neither
party was willing to leave the residence.
No crime had been committed. The
Officer advised both parties that if they could not work things out civilly
to seek restraining orders. A report was written as required by law.
March
16 – Officers
responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Washington Ave. N.
and Lynch Creek Rd. N. E. The
Officers found that a vehicle had stopped for the stop sign on Lynch Creek
Rd. N. E. The vehicle then
failed to yield to a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Washington
Ave. N. There were minor
injuries of both drivers and one passenger.
March
16 – A
28-year-old Eatonville man was arrested on a Baker City, Oregon Felony
warrant for four counts of theft 1st degree (Weapons). The Baker
City Police Department faxed a copy of their police report along with a copy
of a warrant for the arrest of a man living in the Town of Eatonville. They
requested the man be arrested on their warrant and if possible recover the
stolen weapons. On 03/15/2005 a search warrant was obtained from Pierce
County Superior Court. At about 5:30PM members of the police department
arrived at a residence in the 500 block of Ridge Rd to serve the warrant.
The suspect was not home. At about 9:08PM members of the police department
again attempted to serve the warrant and the search warrant at the
residence. This time the suspect was home. He was arrested on the warrant
and served with the search warrant. He was cooperative with the officers and
opened his gun safe and gave them one of the four rifles listed as stolen.
The suspect said he sold two of the rifles in question. He called both
persons he sold the guns to and an officer was sent to meet these persons
and recover the rifles. One of the rifles is still unaccounted for. The
suspect was booked into PC Jail for possession of stolen property and on the
Oregon warrant. Bail on the warrant is $40.000.00. However, the suspect
can’t post the bail until a Superior Court Judge sees him on the charge of
possession of stolen property. The three recovered rifles were driven to the
area of Tri Cities and released to a Baker City police officer.
March
17 – Two
13-year-old middle school boys were picked up for truancy at the Eatonville
skateboard park. An officer on patrol in the area of the skateboard park saw
three teen-age boys at the park. As soon as they saw the approaching officer
one of the boys took off running into an overgrown field behind the park.
The officer sounded his patrol cars air horn several times and the boy
decided to stop and give up. Two of the boys were skipping school the other
had been suspended for being late for school 17 times so far this year. The

Eatonville woman reported that someone she had been corresponding with on
the internet sent her two US Postal Money Orders and asked that she cash
them and return the money to him in another country by Western Union. She
was suspicious and when a package arrived she immediately turned it over to
the police. The US Customs was contacted and requested the package be sent
to the US Postal Service Inspectors who will complete the investigation.

28-year-old Eatonville man reported that while he was southbound in the 400
block of Washington Ave N the side window to his company van was hit with an
unknown object breaking it.

18 – An
18-year-old Graham man was detained by an Eatonville police officer for the
Pierce County Sheriff’s Office. The officer was dispatched to the area of
Orville Road and Clay City Road on a burglary in progress call. The
dispatcher said the victim was following the suspect who had just wrecked
his car in the same area. The officer arrived in the 34100 block of Orville
Rd and saw a white SUV in the ditch. The suspect was sitting on the ground a
short distance away and the victim was standing over him. The suspect was
detained until the arrival of deputies. The suspect appeared intoxicated and
after agreeing to take a field sobriety test he failed all the tests given.
He was transported to the Eatonville Police Department for a breath test.
The results were .096 and .095. The suspect was charged by the sheriff’s
department with DUI, reckless driving, hit & run property damage and
whatever other charges they may have against him.
March
19 – While
assisting the Fife Police Department with a DUI emphasis patrol two
Eatonville Officers were attacked by a 35-year-old Lakewood man. The man attempted to assault the Officers.
The Officers were forced to employ the Tazer two times and also O.C.
spray. The Officers were
finally able to take the man into custody.
He was booked into Pierce County Jail for two counts of Assault 3,
Resisting arrest, and Obstructing.

21 – A
40-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for two felonies warrants.
The Officer observed the man’s vehicle and made a check of the
vehicle using his MDC. The
vehicle’s registered owner showed two outstanding felony warrants for his
arrest. The Officer attempted
to stop the vehicle. The
vehicle continued out of Eatonville to an address on Springwater Rd.
The Officer took the man into custody for his warrants.
At the time of the arrest a 47-year-old Tacoma woman was found to
have drug paraphernalia. She
was cited and released on the scene. The
man was booked into Pierce County Jail.

21-year-old Eatonville man turned himself in to the Police Department for
two felonies warrants. He was
transported to the Pierce County Jail and booked.

24-year-old Elbe man was arrested for an Eatonville warrant.
The man was contacted near Ski Park Rd and SR 161 at 2313 hrs.
There had been numerous reports of people cutting wood in the area
and had caused an accident prior. The
Officer contacted the man and made a check with his MDT, which revealed two
warrants. The man was transported to Fife Jail and booked.

22 – A
19-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and
no valid driver license. The
man was stopped for a minor traffic infraction.
When the man attempted to retrieve the vehicle registration the
Officer saw the paraphernalia. The
man voluntarily gave the device to the Officer.
The man was cited and released at the scene.

22 – A
17-year-old high school girl was arrested for UPCS Paraphernalia.
The Officer was dispatched to the Eatonville High School.
Upon arrival it was discovered that the juvenile had shown a pot pipe
to another student on 3-21-05. The
student reported it to the Vice Principal on 3-22-05.
The suspect juvenile was contacted and the pipe was found in her
purse. She was arrested and
transported to Remann Hall.

17-year-old Eatonville high school girl reported that a 15-year-old male
student had been following her during school and constantly touching her
after she repeatedly told him to leave her alone. The boy was charged with
assault. A case was sent to Remann Hall for review and possible criminal
charging.

13-year-old middle school boy threatened to bring a knife to school after he
and another student got into a fight. A report was sent to Remann Hall
prosecutor for review and possible criminal charging.

16-year-old Tacoma boy was arrested for attempted assault 1st
degree (With a gun), theft of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon on
school grounds (pistol) and carrying a concealed firearm. The arresting
officer was approached by a boy who said he overheard some large males in a
white Toyota talking about beating up another boy who he named. The officer
along with a backup officer contacted the occupants of a white Toyota 4
Runner in the parking lot at the baseball field on Lynch Creek Rd. The
occupants (four males) were questioned and they admitted they were there to
fight a 16-year-old high school boy who was playing baseball with the
Eatonville High School Team. The victim was contacted and said they were
from a school he once went to and he knew them. He said one of the boys he
identified as sitting in the backseat of the 4 Runner had threatened him.
The suspect was arrested for threats and admitted he was there to fight the
other boy and admitted he said he would blow him up if he came to
Eatonville. The suspect was handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol
car. During a search of the back seat where he was sitting a loaded 9mm
pistol was found in the compartment in the back of the passenger front seat.
The suspect admitted he stole the gun from his father and brought it with
him to confront the other boy. He was later transported and booked into
Remann Hall. (This incident occurred at about 5:28PM not during school
hours)

27-year-old Eatonville woman was involuntary committed for a mental
evaluation after she called Pierce County Crisis and said she was going to
kill herself with an overdose of medication. When an officer arrived she
told him the same thing. He called for an ambulance and had her committed.

40-year-old Eatonville woman called to report that her ex-husband had
confronted her at the Glacier View Park Easter egg hunt. She said he was
very angry at her and his threatening gestures and his verbal assault on her
made her fearful. A protection order was recommended. This was verbal only.
A report was written as required by law.

27 year old Ashford man was arrested on an Eatonville Warrant.
Pierce County Deputies made contact with the man at 224th
and SR 161. It was confirmed
that there was an active warrant from the Eatonville Municipal Court.
The man was arrested and booked into the Fife Jail.

14 – An
abandon vehicle was removed from the 100 block of Rainier Ave. N.
The vehicle had been tagged as abandon on 11-3-04; unknown persons
scraped off the tag. The
Officer had the vehicle removed by Eatonville Tow.
February
16 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man call 911 to report a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival of the Police the man stated that he and his 21-year-old
brother had a verbal dispute. Neither
party reported or showed signs of physical contact.
Both parties departed the location on their own.
February
17 – A
16-year-old high school boy reported that someone had broken into his gym
locker and stole $200.00.

15-year-old high school student was charged with indecent exposure. The boy
pulled his shirt up around his chest and then pulled his pants partially
down exposing his buttocks. He then paraded around the classroom trying to
hug students. The suspect then walked to the center of the classroom and
pulled his pants down around his knees and exposed his buttocks to the
teacher and one other student. The suspect was charged and later released
back to school officials.
February
18 – A
13 and a 14-year-old middle school student were picked up in the 200 block
of Penn Ave N for a truancy violation. Both boys were taken into custody and
released to middle school staff.

19 – A
16-year-old Eatonville boy was cited for Negligent driving II.
The Officer was dispatched to Smallwood Park for a suspected motor
vehicle accident. The original
caller later called back saying it was a vehicle having problems with its
horn. The Officer went to the
park and found that the boy had been doing “donuts” and lost control of
his vehicle striking a tree causing both air bags to deploy.
The boy was cited and released at the scene.
February
20 – An
83-year-old Eatonville woman died of natural causes.
February
21 – An
11 and 13-year-old Eatonville girl were arrested for theft in the third
degree. Both girls were video
taped shoplifting items valued at $48.14.
The girls were arrested and released to their parent.
The case was forwarded to Remann Hall for filing of charges.
February
22 – A
43-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI Drugs.
The Officer saw the man’s vehicle and noted that its tabs were
expired. The Officer attempted
to stop the vehicle. The
vehicle then sped up and began to drive dangerously. The Officer terminated the pursuit. The Officer continued at a normal speed and saw the suspect
vehicle also moving at the normal speed.
The Officer maneuvered behind the vehicle and stopped the vehicle at
Alder Cut Off and SR 7. The man
exited the vehicle and became non compliant.
Pierce County Deputies arrived and assisted the Officer taking the
man into custody. IT was
determined that the man was DUI. A
WSP Trooper conducted a DRE evaluation and determined that the man was
impaired on a Central Nervous System Stimulant (METH).
The man was transported to Good Sam for a blood draw.
The case was forwarded for filing of charges.
February
24 – A
60-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI. The arresting officer saw
the suspect at the intersection of Center St and Washington Ave. The suspect
continued eastbound on Center St driving in an erratic manner. The suspect
was stopped at Bergerren Rd and advised the reason for the stop. The driver
was asked if he had been drinking and admitted to drinking probably about 5
beers. He refused to take a field sobriety test. He was arrested and taken
to the police station for a breath test. The suspect refused the breath
test. His license was punched and he was then cited and later released

juvenile boy was arrested for making threats to kill an adult. He was booked
into Remann Hall.

van was impounded after citizens complained it was partially blocking the
roadway on Eagle Glenn Ct.

13-year-old middle school boy was charged with disorderly conduct after he
attempted to fight another student. When teachers tried to break up the
fight the suspect continued to throw punches. The other boy was not injured.
The police report was sent to Remann Hall prosecutors for review and
criminal charging.

25-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for violating a protection order.
The arresting officer served the suspect with a protection order
issued by Pierce County Superior Court. Within a few minutes after being
issued the order he violated it. He was later arrested and booked into Fife
City Jail.

38-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI. The arresting officer saw
the suspect as he stopped at the intersection of Center St W and Washington
Ave. The suspect crossed the intersection traveling eastbound on Center St
E. in the left turn only lane of travel. After about 100 feet the suspect
jerked the wheel to the right almost hitting the curb. He continued
eastbound weaving back and forth over the center and fog line. He was
finally stopped in the 700 block of Center St E.
The officer noted that the driver appeared intoxicated and smelled
heavily of intoxicants. He agreed to take a field sobriety test, which he
failed. He was arrested and taken to the police department for a breath
test. Once at the department he refused the breath test. He was cited and
later transported to his residence and released.
February
3 – A
49-year-old Eatonville man was charged with driving with a suspended license
2nd degree. The arresting officer saw the suspect’s vehicle
parked at a local business. He knew the owner of the vehicle and had heard
that he had a suspended license. The officer contacted records and ran the
suspects name for his driver’s status. The records check showed that the
owner did have a suspended license for refusing to take a breath/blood test
and for failing to have an ignition interlock device. The officer saw the
suspect walk out to his truck and start to drive off. Due to traffic the
officer was unable to catch up to the suspect until he had parked his truck
in front of his residence and was nowhere to be found. A case was sent to
the prosecutor for review and criminal charging.
February
4 – A
14 and a 15-year-old high school girl were arrested for theft and possession
of stolen property after they stole $12.00 from the purse of another
student. The money was recovered. Because Remann Hall was too full at the
time the girls were later released to their parents.

stolen vehicle was recovered in the 41400 block of Orville Road.

7 – A
25-year-old Eatonville man was charged with violating a protection order
after he left a message on his ex-girls friends’ answering machine and
wrote a note asking to see his son. The police report was sent to the
prosecutor for review and possible criminal charging.

9 – The
27-year-old owner of a pit bull was charged with harboring a vicious/
dangerous dog after the dog bit an 11-year-old boy. The boy was treated at a
local hospital and released. It is reported that this is the third time this
same dog has bitten someone. The dog was placed in 10-day quarantine as
required by the Eatonville Municipal Code. The police report was sent to the
prosecutor for review and criminal charging.

10 – Two
middle school boys were reportedly throwing rocks at each other.
One of the rocks hit another student in the head causing a laceration
that took about 10 stitches to close. Investigation continues.

60-year-old Monroe woman reported that she had given personal information
about her mother to a man who told her he was from the US Census Bureau.
This appears to be a scam to get personal information for a later ID
Theft.

14-year-old high school girl was arrested after she was found to be in
possession of marijuana and a pot pipe. Because Remann Hall was too full she
was later released to her mother.

Lynch St W. The boy was stopped and admitted he was skipping school. He was
taken into custody and later released to school staff.

and police were dispatched to the 100 block of Rainier Ave S for a woman who
had apparently died of natural causes. The medical examiner was contacted
and released the body to a funeral home.

68 year old Eatonville woman was given an infraction for improper backing
involving a traffic accident. Police
were dispatched to the Eatonville Elementary School where they contacted a
32 year old Eatonville woman. She
said that a truck had struck her vehicle while attempting to back into a
parking spot. She said that the
driver had given her name and left the scene.
The Officer conducted an area check and found the vehicle parked and
unattended. The Officer waited
until the driver returned. The
driver denied being involved in an accident.
The Officer issued her a NOI and departed the scene.
February
14 – A
15-year-old Eatonville girl was recovered as a runaway.
The Officer was contacted by a citizen who told him that he knew the
location of a listed runaway. The
Officer verified the runaway status. The
girl was placed in Secure CRC at the parent’s request.

2 – A
27-year-old Ashford man was arrested on multiple warrants for his arrest and
for making false statements to a police officer. The arresting officer saw
the suspect hitchhiking in the 500 block of Center St E. The suspect was
asked to identify himself. He gave the officer a false name and date of
birth. After giving more false information to the officer he finally
admitted he lied because he probably had warrants for his arrest. The
suspect was identified and a records check showed he had a felony warrant
for residential burglary, a warrant for DUI, and two Eatonville warrants for
possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license. He
was arrested and later booked into PC jail.
January
3 – A
14-year-old Eatonville girl was reported as a runaway. A short time later
the girl turned herself in to police. She was released back to her father.
January
5 – there
was a bomb threat note found at the high school. The school was searched and
nothing was found.
January
7 – Officers
were dispatched to a residence on Eagle Glenn Court on a reported 911 call.
The occupants were contacted and it was determined it was a verbal domestic
only. An information report was written as required by law.

16-year-old Eatonville boy reported that a 17-year-old boy had assaulted him
at the high school on January 4th. The suspect is reportedly
angry over being suspended for fighting and has made threats to hurt the
other boy.

19-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession
of drug paraphernalia and several Lewis County warrants for his arrest. The
arresting officer stopped a car in the 600 block of Center St on a traffic
violation. The driver and passenger were contacted. The passenger did not
have on a seatbelt. The officer advised him he would be cited for a seatbelt
violation and requested his name and date of birth. A records check showed
that he had multiple Lewis County warrants for his arrest. He was arrested
and during a search he was asked if he had any weapons? He told the officer no but “I bought a 20 of marijuana
earlier today” He told the officer the bag of marijuana was in his pants
pocket. Asked if he had anything else he said he had some more marijuana in
his other pants pocket and a pot pipe. The suspect was arrested, cited and
later released after Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies were unable to meet
the officer and take the suspect to their jail.
January
9 – A
42-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for possession of a stolen car,
possession of drug paraphernalia, forgery and making false statements to a
police officer. The arresting officer saw a black Lexus at the intersection
of Carter St and Rainier Ave N. He saw the car pull into the parking lot
behind the apartments at 201 Rainier Ave N and saw the driver and passenger
enter a small two apartment building located behind the larger apartment
building. The officer ran the license plate on his in car computer. The
records check showed that the vehicle was stolen. The officer assisted by a
Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy checked an apartment and saw the two
suspects inside one of the apartment. They were brought out at gunpoint and
arrested. During a search of the male driver’s backpack a meth pipe was
found. The female passenger was questioned and it was determined she had no
knowledge the vehicle was stolen she was later released. During a search of
the car several forged registration were found. The suspect was booked into
PC Jail.
January
11 – A
17-year-old Eatonville girl reported that an elderly couple in a green Ford
pickup truck with matching canopy had backed into her car while it was
parked in the 200 block of Lynch St W. A witness said an elderly woman was
standing behind the truck guiding the man back. He apparently backed too far
and hit the victim’s car. The couple then drove off.
January
11 – An
18-year-old Eatonville woman reported that at about midnight while in the
41900 block of SR161 she saw a male dressed in dark clothing walking
northbound. She said she stopped and rolled her window down and began
talking to this person. The man reportedly walked to her car and removing a
baseball bat type of club and smashed out her front windshield. The woman
said she sprayed the person with pepper spray and drove away. The damages to
her car were inconsistent with what she said took place. The investigating
officer told the woman he did not believe her story. The woman assured the
officer she was telling the truth. A search of the area was conducted and no
one was seen walking anywhere in the area.

12-year-old girl was reported as a runaway. A short time later she was found
in the 400 block of Lynch St W. She was taken into custody and released to
her grandparents.

15 – a
25-year-old Eatonville man was charged with felony assault 2nd
degree after he hit a 35-year-old Eatonville man with a baseball bat. A
group of friends were in a trailer at the Mill Village RV lot drinking. A
woman while bending over to hug another person was slapped by the victim.
She immediately turned and backhanded him. The owner of the trailer got mad
and threw the victim out. The son of the woman slapped went to his parents
trailer next door and got an aluminum baseball bat. He found the suspect
standing outside and hit him in the shoulder with the bat. He then fled the
area in an unknown direction. A warrant will be issued for his arrest.

17 –A50-year-old
Eatonville man was arrested on two Eatonville Municipal Court warrants for
his arrest. The arresting officer saw the suspect in the 300 block of Center
St E. He ran the suspects plate on his in car computer. The records check
showed he suspect had a suspended license for administrative reason and he
also had two warrants, one for DUI and another for driving with a suspended
license. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was the registered owner. He
was arrested and later booked into Fife City Jail.

34-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had struck her vehicle
while it was parked in the Plaza Market parking lot and left without
reporting the accident.

22-year-old Tacoma man was arrested on a Lewis County warrant for bail
jumping. The arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 200 block of
Washington Ave N. He ran the license plates on his in car computer. The
records check showed that the registered owner had a $25,000.00 felony
warrant for bail jumping. He was stopped and was identified as the
registered owner. He was arrested and later booked into PC Jail.

18 – A
14-year-old high school girl was arrested for disorderly conduct after she
allegedly threatened to beat up another girl or to provoke a fight. After
three trips to the school involving this suspect she was arrested. She was
transported to the police station and was later released to a parent.

15 and 16-year-old high school boy were charged with assaulting each other.
The arresting officer was dispatched to the area of the Eatonville Cemetery
for a fight brewing. When he arrived there were about 50 high school
students standing there. When the officer approached they all scattered.
Apparently they all packed up and went to an area known as the “Red
Gate” off the Mashell Prairie Road. Both parties mutually agreed to the
fight. However, it appeared to be a one sided fight. The 16-year-old was
pretty well beat up and had to be taken to a local hospital to be treated
for his injuries. The other boy was interviewed at his residence and did not
appear to have suffered any injuries. The case was sent to Remann Hall for
review and possible criminal charges filed against both boys for assaulting
each other.

26-year-old Eatonville woman was involuntarily committed to Good Sam
Hospital for a mental evaluation after she attempted suicide.

13-year-old girl was charged with assaulting another girl at the middle
school. The suspect while walking past the victim deliberately dumped a
container of ketchup on her hair and clothing. The report was sent to Remann
Hall for review and criminal charging.

16-year-old high school boy was charged with threatening to kill the school
security officer and for malicious mischief. The boy was observed by the
security officer breaking a drainpipe off the building. When he was taken to
the school administrative office he threatened to kill the security officer.
A report was sent to Remann Hall for review and criminal charging.

36-year-old Pacific Washington man was arrested for driving with a suspended
license. The arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 400 block of
Center St E. He ran the license plates on his in car computer. The records
checked showed that the registered owner had a $10,000.00 Seattle warrant
for his arrest for DUI and his license was suspended for administrative
reasons. The suspect was stopped and he was the registered owner. He was
arrested on the warrant and for driving with a suspended license. Seattle PD
later called a said they could not pick up the suspect and requested he be
released.

20 – Officers
were dispatched to a reported domestic disturbance. The officers determined that the disturbance between a
boyfriend and girlfriend was verbal only. A report was written as required
by law.

21 – An
officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SR161 on a reported injured deer.
The injuries to the deer were so severe it had to be dispatched.

23 – Officers
were dispatched to a residence in Emerald Ridge on a report domestic
dispute. The officers determined that the incident between a woman and her
husband was verbal only. A report was written as required by law.

21-year-old Eatonville man was involuntary committed to Good Sam Hospital
for a mental evaluation after he called a 911 operator and said he was
considering suicide.

25 – A
48-year-old Eatonville man was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle
and for eluding a police vehicle. The suspect was first observed at the
intersection of Center St and Washington Ave. The suspect’s vehicle turned
left almost hitting a fully marked patrol car. The officer followed the
suspect thinking he may be intoxicated. The vehicle was stopped in the alley
between the elementary school and the middle school. The officer contacted
the driver and smelled the odor on intoxicants coming from the inside of the
car. The driver admitted that he had been drinking. After getting a paper
copy of the suspects driver’s license he walked back to his patrol car to
run a records check on the driver and the vehicle. The records check showed
that the vehicle was stolen and the driver had several warrants for his
arrest. The officer walked back to the suspect’s car drew his service
weapon and ordered the driver out of the car at gunpoint. The driver leaned
over and kissed his female passenger and immediately put the car in gear
speeding off. In his attempt to flee the area he almost hit another police
officer responding to the area. The suspect then proceeded northbound on
SR161 to 352nd St with two sheriff’s deputies right behind him.
An East Side Pierce County Sheriff’s Sergeant terminated the pursuit
before the suspect could be stopped. A warrant has been requested for the
suspect’s arrest.

26 – A
juvenile girl was placed in protective custody and was involuntary committed
to Mary Bridge Hospital for a mental evaluation after she admitted she took
a large quantity of cold medication to kill herself. The girl said she did
not want to go back home and if forced to do so she would commit suicide.
This case was referred to Child Protective Services.

27-year-old Sumner man was arrested for shoplifting and for eluding a police
officer. The suspect along with two females entered the Mill Town Chevron.
The two girls shoplifted two packs of Allerfed (which can be used in the
manufacture of meth) and paid for two packs. They all walked outside and two
of the packs of the medication were given to the suspect. They left in
different vehicles. An employee was able to get the description of the
vehicle, which was quite unique and would stand out. A short time later the
investigating officer while on an area check for the suspect saw the vehicle
pass him at the intersection of Eatonville Highway and SR7. He chased the
suspect to the area of 320th St and SR7 before he was able to
stop him. The suspect admitted they shoplifted the medication for the
purpose of making meth and that he was a meth cook. He was later booked into
PC Jail.
January
27 – Four
teenage high school students were taken into custody for truancy. The high
school called to report that five students were truant and they were last
seen in the 400 block of Lynch St W. A residence was checked and a four of
the students were inside. They were transported to the high school and
released to school staff.
January
28 – A
38-year-old Eatonville woman reported that she believed four high school
students had stolen a ferret valued at $149.00 from the Fur Feather and
Fence Pet Shop. Her son was able to identify all four of the kids. All four
teenagers, two boys and two girls were contacted. Two admitted they had stolen the ferret. Unfortunately the
girl who had kept the animal decided to let it go in her back yard. A search
of the area was conducted but it could not be found. The two teenagers were
arrested and later booked into Remann Hall. One other girl was charged with
the theft of the ferret because she was an accomplice. The fourth was not
charged.

14-year-old high school girls reportedly got into a fistfight on their way
to school. One of the girls denied there ever was a fight and the
confrontation was verbal only. Witnesses verified no fight took place. Case
closed as unfounded.

2 – A
35-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for malicious mischief (domestic
violence). The suspect and his girlfriend got into a verbal argument over
their children. The 38-year-old girlfriend got mad and decided pack her
things and leave. The suspect got mad and smashed a stereo belong to his
girlfriend. He was arrested and booked into Fife City jail.

2 – a
45-year-old Eatonville man reported a large dog belonging to a 23-year-old
neighbor had bitten him. The victim was treated for the dog bite to his side
at the Good Sam Hospital Clinic in Eatonville. The dog’s owner said the
dog is always inside an electric fenced in their back yard and has never
shown an aggression towards anyone in the four and a half years they have
owned the dog. The owner was ordered to keep the dog inside the residence
for the mandatory 10-day quarantine as required by the Eatonville Municipal
Code.

28-year-old Eatonville woman reported a possible identity theft. The victim
said that a 28-year-old former friend that has multiple felony warrants for
her arrest has been using her name. The victim learned from another friend
that works for the Department of Corrections that a wanted flyer on the
suspect has the victims name listed as an alias name. The victim fears if
she is stopped by law enforcement officers she may be arrested for an act
committed by her former friend. The
victim was provided a case number and a copy of the police report.

4 – A
27-year-old Puyallup man was arrested for DUI.
The Officer stopped the man for speeding. The Officer immediately detected the odor of an alcoholic
beverage. The man voluntarily
submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety tests and showed obvious signs
of impairment. The man was
transported to the Eatonville P. D. where he gave two samples of his breath,
which were .146 and .164. The
man was released and the case was forwarded to Municipal Court for filing of
charges.
December
5 – A
30-year-old Eatonville man reported that his $900.00 mountain bike had been
stolen from the area of 44500 SR 7. A
report was completed and forwarded to the Pierce County Sheriffs Department.

6 – A
16 and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for possession of marijuana and one
of the boys was charged with possession with intent to deliver. The boys
were caught by school staff in possession of marijuana. One of the boys
admitted the marijuana was his and he had given it to his friend. Both were
arrested and later booked into Remann Hall.

6 – Two
18-year-old men were arrested for attempted burglary, vandalism and vehicle
prowl. A 17-year-old accomplish is wanted for questioning. Police were given
a 8mm video tape that showed the suspects consuming large amounts of
alcohol, and even showed them drinking a vomiting on a Eatonville School
District School Bus, attempting to break into parked cars, breaking two
windows at the Eatonville Co-op Day Care, breaking the windshield of a Dodge
pickup truck and finally them attempting to break into the Plaza Market. One
of the men was booked into PC Jail and the other was cited and released.

8 – A
20-year-old Eatonville woman reported that her 41-year-old mother who lives
in Oklahoma used her name to obtain telephone and electrical services and
then didn’t pay the bills resulting in her being charged. A copy of the
report will be forwarded to Tulsa Oklahoma Sheriff’s Department for
investigation.

9 – A
12-year-old middle school boy was charged with stabbing another student in
the arm with an ink pen. The boy became mad when another student while
passing his desk made a comment he didn’t like. The suspect stabbed the
other boy in the left forearm causing a small puncture wound and a scratch.
Because of the boys age he was not booked into Remann Hall. He later
released to school officials. Case to Remann Hall for review and possible
criminal charging.

The police department is investigating a possible sexual assault that
occurred at the middle school.

22-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone broke into her car while
it was parked in the 200 block of Carter St. E. The suspect(s) stole a
stereo, some speakers and a radar detector.

12 – A
17-year-old Auburn boy was arrested for DUI, possession of marijuana and
possession of drug paraphernalia. Two teenage girls and another teenage boy
were also arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. The arresting officer
while monitoring traffic on Washington Ave saw the suspects vehicle
traveling westbound on Center St. The driver was not slowing down as he
approached the intersection and had to finally hit his breaks hard stopping
inside the intersection itself. The officer pulled in behind the suspect and
clocked him at 35MPH in a posted 25MPH speed zone. The vehicle was stopped
in the 200 block of Washington Ave N. The driver appeared to be intoxicated
and was asked if he had been drinking. He said “No.” He was asked and
agreed to take a field sobriety test and failed all tests given. He was
arrested for DUI. During a search of his car .6grams of marijuana and a pot
pipe were found. The passengers were given a portable breath test and they
all failed. They too were arrested for MIP. The suspect and his passengers
were transported to the police department. Once at the police station the
driver refuse the breath test. They were all cited and released to parents.

40-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had driven a newer Dodge
truck through his front yard hitting his portable basketball hoop.

33-year-old Nine Mile Falls, Washington resident was arrested for DUI,
violating his vehicle interlock requirement, driving with a revoked license
and for a $7.600.00 Federal Way warrant for his arrest for DUI. The
arresting officer was flagged down by a motorist who reported the driver in
front of him was intoxicated. The officer pulled in behind the suspect and
observed his driving. The officer saw that the suspect was swerving from
side to side. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was contacted. Before
the officer reached the drivers window he smelled to very strong odor of
intoxicants. The driver was so intoxicated he was not asked to take a field
sobriety test. He was arrested and taken to the police station for a breath
test. The results were .264 and .281. Because the test results were so high
medical personnel were contacted and after an observation period they
determined he was ok to be transported to jail. The suspect was cited and
later transported to Puyallup where he was released to Federal Way police on
their warrant.

14-year-old boy reportedly stole $140.00 from his father wallet. The boy
admitted he took the money and later that day denied taking the money. He
said he admitted he took the money in order to avoid being booked into
Remann Hall. A report was sent to Remann Hall for review and possible
criminal charging.

14-year-old high school boy was arrested for assault. The boy was arrested
after he hit a teenage girl in the breast and then hit her in the crotch
area with his hand. A report was sent to Remann Hall for criminal charging.

85-year-old Eatonville man while backing from a parking space at the Plaza
Market hit another vehicle. He was cited for improper backing.

59-year-old Eatonville woman while backing from a parking space at the Plaza
Market hit another vehicle. She was cited for improper backing and for
having an expired drivers license.

20 – Four
Auburn Native American men were arrested for possession of marijuana,
possession of drug paraphernalia, one of the men was charged with Felon in
possession of a firearm and one had two additional charges of possession
with intent to deliver cocaine and a federal charge of kill a bald eagle.
The arresting officer observed the suspects vehicle traveling northbound in
the 100 block of Washington Ave. He ran the license plate on his in car
computer. The records check showed the registered owner had an ID card only
and he had two Auburn warrants for his arrest. The driver of the vehicle
matched the description of the registered owner. The vehicle was stopped and
the driver was the registered owner. The officer saw numerous rifles in the
vehicle all within easy reach of the occupants and he noticed they all
seemed overly nervous. A Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy soon arrived to
assist. A records check showed that one of the passengers was a convicted
felon and another had a warrant for his arrest for possession of marijuana.
The suspects were removed from the vehicle and during a search they were
found to be in possession of a large quantity of cocaine and marijuana as
well as drug paraphernalia. The suspects admitted they had been hunting in
the Riffe Lake area of Lewis County. During a search of the car a dead young
bald eagle was found. The occupants identified a 22-year-old man as the
person who shot and kill the eagle. A Washington State Game Warden was
contacted and he took possession of the eagle and will be charging the
suspect in federal court. The penalty for killing a bald eagle is 6 years in
prison and a $100,000.00 fine. Two of the suspects were booked into PC Jail
and two were cited and released.

21- A
23-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for felony possession of meth,
possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A search
warrant was served on a residence in the 200 block of Orchard Ave N. During
the search a large quantity of drug paraphernalia was found along with some
marijuana and methamphetamine. Two 22-year-old men who live at the residence
but were not at home at the time of the search warrant service will also
charged with possession of marijuana. The woman was transported and booked
into PC jail.

23 – A
30-year-old Eatonville man living in the 700 block of Carriage Court
reported a burglary to his residence. The suspect broke out a window on the
west side of his house and then climbed inside. The suspect stole two DVD
players, jewelry, DVD’s and about $400.00 worth of their daughters
Christmas presents.

24 – A
53-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had just broken into her
vehicle. The victim said she had arrived home from shopping and had taken
some items inside leaving her car unlocked. When she returned to the car she
noticed that the hood was open. An officer responded and saw an area where
dirt appeared to have been smudged by a piece of cloth in the shape of a
finger.

teenage girl was arrested for assaulting her mother. She was transported and
booked into Remann Hall.

25-year-old Graham man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
The arresting officer saw the suspect in the 200 block of Washington Ave. He
ran the license plate on his in car computer. The records check showed the
registered owner had an administrative suspended license for having no
insurance on his car. The suspect was stopped and he was the registered
owner. He was arrested and after being cited he was released.

smeared feces on the walls of the post office lobby.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Orchard Ave on a
reported domestic situation. The incident turned out to be verbal only. An
information was completed as required by law.

48-year-old Eatonville man reported he and another man were involved in a
traffic accident that occurred on 12/25/2004. Because no one called to
report the accident scene on the date it occurred an information report was
written for insurance purposes only.

29 – A
49-year-old Graham woman was charged for writing a bad check to a local
business. The suspect was given a written warning letter explaining she had
15 days in which to make restitution. She failed to comply within the time
allowed. Later that day she paid the restitution plus any bad check fees.
The business owner requested the case be dismissed.

31 – A
56-year-old woman was taken into protective custody. An off duty police
officer reported he was following a possible drunk driver on Mountain
Highway in the area of the Eatonville Highway. An Eatonville officer was
dispatched and stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Mt. Hwy and
Eatonville Hwy. The driver appeared disoriented and confused but not
intoxicated. A records check showed that she was a missing/endangered person
from Mercer Island. The woman was taken to the police department. Her
husband was contacted and picked her up.

1 – Two
17-year-old high school boys were arrested for minor in possession and
consumption of alcohol. The two boys had been drinking from a bottle of
Bacardi 151 Rum on their way to school. Once at school a teacher smelled the
odor of intoxicants on one of the boys and reported the incident to school
staff. Both boys were later released to their parents.
November
2 – A
20-year-old Eatonville man was charged with driving with a suspended license
2nd degree. An officer saw the suspect driving in the 100 block
of Washington Ave N and noticed that the vehicle did not have a front
license plate. The suspect was stopped and advised the reason for the
traffic stop. The suspect told the officer he didn’t have his license with
him. A records check showed that he had a suspended license for two felony
eluding charges and one for MIP. The suspect was cited and released.
November
2 – A
30-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had cut a hole in the top
of his wife’s jeep and stole the stereo. The suspect(s) then slashed both
front seats with what appeared to be a razor blade.

72-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had stole a statue from a
gravesite at the Eatonville Town Cemetery.

12 and a 13-year-old middle school boy were picked up for truancy. They were
transported to the middle school and released to school staff.

5 - An Officer was called to a residence in Eatonville where a
22-year-old male and a 22-year-old female were having a dispute over custody
of the child they had in common. The
Officer was there to maintain civil order. The Officer was requested to document the situation, which he
did.
November
7 – A
38-year-old Kent man was arrested for two counts of Assault 4th
degree DV and one count of Malicious Mischief 3rd degree DV.
The Officer was dispatched to the parking lot in the 300 block of
Center St. E. for a possible Domestic in progress.
Upon arrival it was determined that the man had assaulted his
35-year-old girlfriend and her 14-year-old daughter. Further while she was attempting to call 911 the man had
taken and broke the woman’s cell phone.
The man was booked into Fife Jail on the charges.
November
10 – A
56-year-old Ashford woman was arrested for violation of a trip permit. The Officer while monitoring traffic observed the vehicle
passed the Officer. The Officer
could not see any license plates on the vehicle.
The Officer stopped the vehicle and found that it had a trip permit
that had been used for October 21. The
Officer cited the woman and released her at the scene.
November
12 –
An 11-year-old Ashford boy reported that a vehicle had struck him as he was
walking eastbound at 388 Center St. E.
He said that the vehicle had been in the parking lot and was occupied
by a boy and three girls. The
vehicle then sped out of the parking lot striking him on the left leg.
The boy was transported to Morton Hospital by his parents to be
treated for minor bruising and swelling.
The Officer made contact with the outside employees of the business
but they were unable to provide any further information.
The vehicle was described as a small silver sporty type vehicle with
a fin. The investigation
continues.
November
15 – A
46-year-old Eatonville woman reported that an unknown person or persons had
entered her vehicle. She said
that nothing was removed but that the person had also let the air out of her
front tires. No suspect
information was discovered.
November
16 – A
41-year-old Eatonville man reported that he had been assaulted while in a
local tavern. The man said that
while he was sitting at the bar four men approached him and struck him with
closed fists to the back of the head. When
the Eatonville man stood up all four of the men knocked him to the ground
hitting and kicking him. The
four men have not been identified at the time but one of the men’s vehicle
license plates was reported. Investigation continues.
November
17 – A
LeMay garbage truck caught fire behind Town Hall. When the driver noticed the fire he attempted to exit the
parking lot and move the vehicle to a safe location.
In doing so he struck the corner of the building causing about $50.00
damage.
November
18 – A
27-year-old Eatonville woman reported a suspicious man watching a bus stop.
The male, identified as a white male about 6’ 00” 180 lbs. Long
blonde hair wearing a Carhartt jump suit, had been hanging around the bus
stop since November 8. The Officer attempted to locate the individual but met with
negative results. The Officer
contacted the bus driver who drives the route.
She said that she had seen the man.
The Officer contacted all the Eatonville School Principals and gave
them a description of the man. The
Officer further contacted the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office to give them
the information.
November
18 – A
13-year-old Eatonville boy assaulted a 12-year-old Eatonville boy at the
Eatonville Middle School. The
Officer was dispatched to the Eatonville Middle School where he made contact
with the assistant Principal. Investigation
revealed that the 12-year-old walked up and punched the 13-year-old with a
closed fist. The 12 was
arrested and released on his mother’s request.
Case forwarded to Remann Hall for charging.
November
18 – A
43-year-old Eatonville woman reported that her camcorder had been stolen
from her daughter’s locker while at the Eatonville High School.
The Officer made contact with the High School staff and was informed
him that the Camcorder was recovered and the identity of the suspects.
The Officer interviewed the woman’s daughter and the suspects. He arrested a 15-year-old Eatonville boy and transported him
to Remann Hall where he was booked on Theft 2nd charges.
There was one other suspect in the case that was not booked.
The case was forwarded to Remann Hall for filing of charges.
November
19 – A
35-year-old Eatonville man reported that his daughter had been harassed.
The Officer responded and interviewed the daughter and attempted to
contact the suspect with negative results.
The case was forwarded to Remann Hall for filing of charges.

22 –
An Officer was dispatched to a report of a traffic accident.
Upon arrival the Officer discovered that a 57-year-old Eatonville
woman had backed into a 52-year-old Eatonville man’s vehicle.
Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $1000.00.

An Officer was dispatched to a report of a traffic accident.
Upon arrival at the address the Officer discovered that a 4-year-old
Eatonville boy had gotten vehicle keys, exited the back door of his
residence, and started his mother’s vehicle.
The boy then put the vehicle into gear and struck a residence that
was across the street. The
owner of the residence and the owner of the vehicle were friends and agreed
to handle the damages.

local business owner reported a shoplift of a $56.00 set of skateboard
trucks. The owner said that she
had just received the shipment and the box containing the trucks were on the
floor. She took the box home to
price the trucks and found them to be missing.
The description of the trucks was very specific and identifiable.
Investigation continues.

47-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had stolen her cell
phone.

teenage high school girl was charged with disorderly conduct after she
repeatedly attempted to get another girl to fight her. The case was sent to
Remann Hall for review and possible criminal charging.

30-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had stolen his 1985 Suzuki
Quad Runner from his barn. The Quad is reddish orange with black front and
rear racks.

evaluation after he threatened to commit suicide.

26 – Someone
broke into the storage shed at the Gypsy Wagon Espresso Wagon sometime
between 3:00PM on 11/25/2004 and 5:00AM on 11/26/2004. The suspect(s) stole
a large quantity of merchandise that was stored there.

50-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had stolen about $400.00
from her bank account by using her debit account number. The case was turned
over to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.

38-year-old Auburn man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
The arresting officer ran the suspects license number on his in car
computer. The records check showed that the registered owner had a suspended
license for motor vehicle accident financial responsibility. He was stopped,
arrested cited and later released.

19-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and
Drug Paraphernalia. The man was
stopped for suspicion of DUI. When
the Officer made contact with the man the Officer saw in plain sight an
amount of a green leafy substance which later tested positive for Marijuana.
The man was booked into Fife Jail.

45-year-old Eatonville woman reported the theft of her prescription drugs
and a wedding set. The woman
said that the items had been taken from her sister while she was staying
with her. No suspect information was given.

31-year-old Eatonville woman reported an attempted arson.
The woman said while she was moving items from one storage room to
another she saw a pile of paper bags that had been lit on fire and placed
next to the storage units. The
woman’s son was able to give a general description of the suspect.

October
1 – Someone
made a bomb threat at the middle school. The suspect wrote “Tic Tic Boom
2” on a towel dispenser in the 8th grade girl’s restroom. The
school was evacuated and searched nothing was found.
October
1 – Two
14-year-old girls were arrested. One for minor in possession of alcohol the
other for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. An
Eatonville High School staff member while standing at the football filed
gate monitoring the ticket takers smelled intoxicants as two students passed
her. The two girls were escorted to an officer working the football game. He
detected the smell of alcohol and had the girl’s blow into a portable
breath tester. One girl’s results were negative; the other girls however
had a .14 she was arrested for MIP. The other girl removed her jacket and as
another student was walking past attempted to hand it to them stating it
didn’t belong to her. The jacket was searched and inside was a pack of
cigarettes, .04 grams of marijuana and a pot pipe. The girl was arrested.
Both were later released to parents.
October
2 – Two
17-year-old high school boys were arrested for minor in possession of
alcohol while on school grounds. A high school staff member while monitoring
students at the Homecoming Dance smelled alcohol on the breath of a student
who was trying to get into the dance at the rear of the gym. The arresting
officer made contact with the student and determined that he was apparently
intoxicated. A field sobriety test was given and he failed. A portable
breath tester was brought out and the results were .95. He was arrested for
MIP. Another student that was with the suspect was also contacted he too
appeared to be intoxicated. He was given a breath test using the portable
breath tester and his results were .050. He was also arrested. One of the
suspects told the officer he had beer inside his car and in the trunk. He
told the officer he could go get it. The beer was removed and poured out.
Both boys were later released to their parents.
October
3 – A
39-year-old Puyallup man was arrested for DUI. The Pierce County Dispatcher
advised the arresting officer that a white van on the Alder Cut Off Rd was
headed towards Eatonville and the driver might be intoxicated. The passenger
of another vehicle altered the officer that the white van behind them was
intoxicated. The officer pulled in behind the van in the 500 block of Center
St Wand began to observe his driving. The driver was driving to the extreme
right side of the road striking the curb and weave back into his lane. The
suspect was stopped in the 300 block of Center Street. The suspect when
contacted smell strongly of intoxicants. The suspect agreed to take a field
sobriety test and failed all tests given. He was arrested for DUI and
transported to the police station for a breath test. The results were .154
and 159. He was cited and later released to his wife.
October
3 – A
20-year-old homeless man was arrested for felony possession of meth,
possession of drug paraphernalia and two Eatonville Municipal Court warrants
for his arrest, one for possession of marijuana/paraphernalia and the other
for minor in possession of alcohol. The arresting officer’s saw the
suspect in the 100 block of the alley that parallels Washington Ave N. Both
officers knew that the suspect had warrants for his arrest. After the
warrants were confirmed the suspect was stopped and arrested on the
warrants. As the arresting officer began to search the suspect he was asked
if he had “anything” on him. The suspect said he had two pipes and that
was all. Two pot pipes were found in his pants pocket. During a search of
his wallet a baggy of white powder was found. The suspect admitted the
powder was methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested on the additional drug
charges and later booked into PC jail.
October
4 – A
31-year-old Mineral man was charged with failing to register as a sex
offender. The arresting officer while monitoring traffic in the 100 block of
Washington Ave N ran the suspect’s license plates. The records checked
showed that the owner of the vehicle might have failed to register as a sex
offender. The driver of the vehicle matched the description of the driver.
The suspect was stopped and was the owner. The driver handed the officer his
driver’s license that had an address of 815 Eatonville Highway Apartment
B-6. A records check showed that he had last registered in Auburn, WA. He
had for a fact not registered in Eatonville. The suspect said he had just
moved to Mineral from Eatonville and he thought he had 14 days to register
there. Because his status could not be confirmed through King County
Sheriff’s Office he was released. A Deputy from King County was later
contacted and said that he had last registered himself in Auburn. The owner
of a rental company who had rented the suspect a house in Mineral was
contacted. They said he had rented the house on 5/22/2004 and took
possession of the property on 6/1/2004. The suspect was observed again on
10/6/2004 he was stopped in the 300 block of Center St. He was contacted and
placed under arrest for failing to register as a sex offender. He was later
booked into PC Jail.
October
6 – A
76-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had struck the rear of
her car while it was parked at the Eagles. No suspects.
October
7 – Someone
between 9/30/2004 and 10/4/2004 stole 400 pounds of ground meat from a meat
locker located in a locked room at the Eatonville High School. The meat was
a US commodity used for the school districts free lunch program. There were
no signs of forced entry into the room. The only keys that can excess the
room are what school officials call a “Grand Master Key”. School records
indicate 12 high school staff members have a grand master key, 2 from the
school district office and 14 Maintenance and custodial staff. The meat was
in 10-pound roles with 4 to a case. A total of 10 cases or 400 pounds are
missing. Investigation continues.

8 – A
20-year-old Lakewood man was arrested on a department of correction order
for arrest. Officers were dispatched to an address in the Mill Village
Trailer Park after someone called the sheriff’s department and reported
the suspect was at his mother’s house. The suspect was arrested without
incident. He was later transported and booked into PC Jail.
October
9 – A
52-year-old Glenoma man reported that someone had stolen a 5000 watt Generac
generator from the back of his truck while it was parked in the parking lot
at the Eagles. No suspects.
October
10 – A
32 y/o woman drove by her x-husbands residence and verbally harassed him and
his family and made a death threat if he called the "cops. The
case was sent to the prosecutor.
October
12 – A
14-year-old Eatonville boy and a 15-year-old Eatonville boy got into a fight
at the Eatonville High School. Both
boys admitted to the fight and the case was forwarded to Remann Hall for
filing of charges.

17-year-old Eatonville boy was arrested for Malicious Mischief 3rd.
The boy struck and vending machine breaking the glass.
Numerous items were taken for a total cost of replacement/repair of
$210.00. The boy was released to his parents. The case was forwarded to Remann Hall for filing of charges.

15-year-old Eatonville boy was arrested for Disturbing School Function.
The boy became disorderly and began throwing items in class and using
profanity. The school Security
Officer was called and when he arrived the boy became defiant.
The boy departed the classroom and refused to comply with the
instructions given by the Security Officer.
The boy later went to the office and became disorderly by yelling and
using profanity to the point the Office Staff became concerned for their
safety. Upon arrival of the
Police Officer, he determined that the boy had disrupted school functions by
use of profanity, yelling, throwing items, and taking paperwork from the
Security Officer and throwing them in the trash.
The boy was released to him mother at the scene.
The case was forwarded to Remann Hall for filing of charges.

Eatonville P. D. responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival it was determined that a Pierce County Fire truck had
struck a vehicle while it was parked and unattended.
Estimated cost of damage was $1800.00.

14-year-old Eatonville girl was arrested for Minor in Possession/consumption
of alcohol. The Officer was
dispatched to the Eatonville High School for a report of an intoxicated
student. Upon arrival the
Officer was informed by the Vice Principal that she thought two girls had
been drinking alcohol on school grounds.
Investigation revealed that the girl had drunk a 12 oz Natural Light
while at school. The girl was
arrested and released to her parents.

18 – A
16-year-old Eatonville man reported a Hit and Run.
The man reported to the Officer that he had parked his vehicle in the
100 block of Orchard Ave. N. near a green Ford Taurus.
As he was walking away heard the sound of the accident.
He returned to his vehicle to find that person(s) unknown had struck
his vehicle causing damage to the grill, bumper and hood.
Investigation continues.

19 – A
25-year-old Eatonville woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was making
Felony harassing phone calls from Oregon.
She reported that the man was calling threatening to kill her and her
parents. He further threatened to come to Eatonville to carry out the
act. The woman told the Officer
that while the man was making the threats he was arrested by Portland P. D.
The Officer made contact with the sister whom confirmed that the man
was indeed in jail. She further confirmed that she believed the man would attempt
to carry out the threat. The
Police Department was contacted by Oregon department of Corrections. The case was sent to the requesting agency and a DOC hold was
placed on the man. The case was
forwarded to the Superior Court for filing of charges.

21 – A
53-year-old Eatonville woman reported that a vehicle that belonged to her
daughter was stolen. She said
that her husband a 44-year-old Puyallup man had been asked to care for her
cat while she was in Idaho. Upon
returning she discovered that the vehicle was missing along with the extra
set of keys that were in the house. When
asked she said that the husband has taken the vehicle without permission
before. The vehicle was listed
as stolen through LESA Records.

21 – A
22-year-old Yelm woman was arrested for No Valid Operators License without
ID. The Officer was on patrol
when he saw a vehicle that was traveling 67 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. The Officer stopped the vehicle and upon requesting the
driver license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration the woman told
him that she did not have any of the requested documentation. The Officer confirmed through LESA records that the woman did
not have a valid operator’s license.
The woman was issued an infraction for speeding and no proof of
insurance. She was given a
citation for NVOL without ID.
October
22 – A
17-year-old Eatonville boy was arrested for reckless driving.
The Officer was dispatched to the Eatonville High School for a report
of a reckless vehicle. The
Officer arrived and made contact with several witnesses.
All witness say that the vehicle in question revved its engine
excessively, then sped northbound while attempting to negotiate the corner
at Mashell Ave. N. and Lynch St. E. the vehicle lost control and spun
completely around. The vehicle
then departed the area. The
vehicle was identified as the suspect’s vehicle by the witnesses.
The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted and later re
contacted the Officer and denied access to the boy.
The case was completed and forwarded to the Prosecutor for filing of
charges.
October
22 – A
12-year-old Eatonville boy reported that he was assaulted by a 12-year- old
Eatonville boy and a 14-year-old Eatonville boy.
Investigation revealed that the victim had gone to the area of 300
Center St. E. He made contact
with the two boys and was having a conversation with him. During the conversation the two boys became angry at what was
said and chased the boy. They
caught the boy and pushed him to the ground.
They then wrote on the boys face and hands with a pen.
The Officer made contact with the two suspects which, the victim
identified. The parents of the
suspects were notified and they were released to their parents.
The case was forwarded to Remann Hall for charging.

24 – A
20-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for several Felony Warrant.
The Officer received anonymous information that the man was at a
residence in the town of Eatonville. The
Officer verified the warrants through LESA Records which included a
Department of Corrections warrant for escape.
The Officer assisted by two Pierce County Deputies went to the
residence and took him into custody. During
the arrest it was discovered that the man had escaped from the hospital
where he was on a Police hold for several felony charges. The suspect was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where
he was evaluated. He was then
transported to Pierce County Jail and booked on the warrants.

24 – A
22-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for Assault 4 DV.
The Officer was dispatched to a Eatonville residence. Upon arrival he
was met by the suspect who wanted to report she had been assaulted by her
sister. Investigation revealed
through the interview of several witnesses that the woman had attacked her
sister by pushing and punching with a closed fist. The woman was arrested
and transported to the Pierce County Jail where she was booked.
October
24 – A
36-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for possession of pseudo ephedrine with
the intent to manufacture Methamphetamine. Officers received a phone message
from the man’s girlfriend. She
told Officers that her boyfriend was on his way to her residence.
She said that he had been out shoplifting Pseudo ephedrine.
She further said that the boyfriend had numerous warrants for his
arrest. The Officers conducted a check of the man using their Mobil Dispatch
Computer which revealed several misdemeanor and one felony warrant for his
arrest. The girl agreed to call
the Police when the boyfriend arrived. The girlfriend called and upon arrival of the Police the man
and woman were seen standing on the front porch arguing. When the Officers approached the man ran into the residence.
One Officer pursued while the other maintained containment.
The man was caught inside the house and taken into custody. The vehicle the man was driving was registered to the girl.
The man denied driving the vehicle and the girl gave the Officers
consent to search. Methamphetamines
and paraphernalia were found as well as 1168 Pseudo ephedrine tablets, a
coffee grinder, 18 lithium batteries, and other items used in the
manufacturing of Methamphetamines. The
man was transported and booked into Pierce County Jail.
The items were seized as evidence.

25 – A
37-year-old Spanaway man was arrested for Driving While License Suspended in
the Second degree. The Officer saw the man’s vehicle and made a check of
the license registration and the registered owner using his MDC.
It revealed that the driver was suspended for a DUI/Admin/ Per se.
The Officer stopped the vehicle and upon confirming that he was in
fact the registered owner and that his license was suspended for not paying
child support and made the arrest. The
driver was also given a NOI for no insurance.

25 – A
31-year-old McKenna woman reported that while she was working at a local
restaurant she had discovered a counterfeit one-dollar bill.
The Officer seized the dollar. The
woman gave a description of the person that had given the dollar along with
8 others to pay for his meal. The
Secret Service was contact. Investigation
continues.
October
26 - A 13-year-old and a 12-year-old Eatonville Middle School student
were arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia. Both students admitted to the possession of marijuana. They
were not taken into custody at this time because the incident occurred the
day prior and school officials failed to notify the police until the next
day. The suspect's parents were notified and advised the case would be sent
to Remann Hall for review and criminal charging.

26 - A 15 and 17-year-old boy reportedly got into a physical altercation
at the Eatonville High School. The 15-year-old boy reportedly had taken an
X-box out of the other boy's backpack and when he tried to get it back the
younger boy tried to pick a fight with him. During the confrontation the
15-year-old alledged that the older boy elbowed him in the stomach. The
older boy said the younger one threw pencils at him. A report has been
forwarded to Remann Hall for review and possible criminal charging.

26 - While investigating an earlier marijuana possession case at the
middle school officers found out that a 19-year-old Eatonville man had
delivered the marijuana to the 13-year-old suspect. The boy said that he had
also smoked some marijuana with the man after leaving a local residence. He
further described the man, the marijuana, and the smoking device. The
suspect is well known to police. Case forwarded to Superior Court for review
and criminal charging.

30 - A 16-year-old Mineral boy reported that someone broke into his car
while it was parked in the Eatonville High School parking lot. The suspect(s)
broke a window to get inside. They then stole an amplifier and sub woofers.
A possible suspect has been identified. Investigation continues.

3 – A
30-year-old
Eatonville man was arrested for DUI, possession of marijuana and possession
of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was stopped in the 300 block of Center St
E after he was observed striking a curb while pulling into a local business
and for having defective lighting. The suspect was contacted and smelled
strongly of intoxicants and appeared to be intoxicated. He agreed to take a
field sobriety test and failed all tests given. He was arrested for DUI and
during a search of his vehicle a small quantity of marijuana and a smoking
device were found in the car. The suspect was taken to the police station
for a breath test. The results were .161 and .160. He was cited and later
released.
September
4 – A
28-year-old Ashford woman was arrested for forgery and theft of a check. The
suspect stole a check from her mother’s house and proceeded to the Venture
Bank where she attempted to cash the check. The bank refused and notified
the police. The suspect was later arrested by Pierce County Deputies for the
burglary of her mother’s house and a felony warrant for forgery and booked
into PC jail. The forgery and theft charges will be added to her burglary
charge.

17-year-old Eatonville boy parked his mother’s car at the plaza market
leaving the car unlocked and the keys in the ignition. Needless to say
someone saw the keys and stole the car. The car was later recovered in
McKenna by a PC deputy. An Eatonville man has been identified as a possible
suspect. Investigation continues.

4 – A
35-year-old Graham man was arrested for failing to obtain a Washington State
License within 30 days of moving to the state. The suspect was stopped in
the 500 block of Center St E for speeding 34MPH in a posted 25MPH zone. The
suspect when contacted handed the officer a Maryland driver’s license. A
records check showed that the license may have been suspended. He was
re-contacted and said he had been living in Washington for the past 6
months. He was cited and later released.

4 – A
48-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI. A citizen stopped and
officer and pointed to a vehicle that had just turned onto Lynch Creek Road
saying that the vehicle was all over the road and possibly drunk. The
officer pulled in behind the car and watched the driver driving with about
half the width of the vehicle off the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle
was doing about 10MPH in a posted 25MPH zone. The suspect was stopped at the
intersection of Lynch Creek Road and Cessna Court. The driver when contacted
appeared to be intoxicated. He agreed to take a field sobriety test and
failed all tests given. He was arrested and transported to the police
station for a breath test. The results were .198 and .205. He was cited and
later released.
September
5 – A
33-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI and for possession of meth.
An officer while stopped at Center St W and Mashell Ave saw the suspect’s
vehicle traveling south on Mashell Ave at a high rate of speed. The officer
pulled him over in the parking lot to Rainier View Apartment. The driver
appeared to be intoxicated. He agreed to take a filed sobriety test and
failed all tests given. During a search of his car a small baggy of meth was
found on the passenger side floor. He was arrested for DUI and taken to the
police station for a breath test. The results were .198 and .197. He was
later booked into PC jail.

22-year-old Eatonville woman was arrested for driving with a suspended
license. The suspect was stopped in the 300 block of Washington Ave for
defective lighting. A records check showed that she had a suspended license
for a motor vehicle accident. She was cited and released.

6 – A
37-year-old Puyallup man was arrested on a Puyallup warrant for his arrested
for possession of marijuana. The suspect was stopped in the 100 block of
Center St after a records check showed that the registered owner had a
warrant for his arrest. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was the
owner. He was transported and released to a Puyallup police officer.

7 – A
47-year-old San Diego, California man was arrested for DUI. The arresting
officer responded to a traffic accident in the 200 block of Washington Ave N
involving a truck vs. a sports utility vehicle. The driver of the truck when
contacted was acting very strangely saying he was not the driver even though
he was seated in the driver’s seat with the engine running. The officer
asked if he had been drinking and he said no. He was then asked if he had
taken any drugs. His response was “I’m just driving”. The driver was
obviously intoxicated by either alcohol or drugs. He agreed to take a field
sobriety test but he was so out of it the tests were not preformed. He was
arrested for DUI. A search of the vehicle was conducted a bottles of
prescription narcotics were found. Medical aid was called after the
driver’s condition continued to get worst. They checked his blood sugar
and vitals and all were ok. They then took blood samples that were later
sent to the Washington State Toxicology Lab for testing.

9 – A
21-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for reckless driving and attempted
to eluding a police officer. The arresting officers were standing outside
their patrol cars in front of the Chevron gas station. They both saw a car
pull out of the Plaza Market parking lot spinning its tires and fish tailing
wildly. The driver pulled into Mill Village parking lot and was stopped by
the two officers. A records checked showed that he had a clear status so he
was given a verbal warning by the officer. The driver pulled out of the
parking lot stopped at the intersection of Center St and Washington Ave and
after revving his engine up to high RPM’s he pulled out spinning his tires
and fishtailing around the corner. Both officers again went after this guy.
He attempted to elude the officers buy cutting through the parking lot of
the Elementary School. As he was coming out of the school parking lot he
almost hit one of the patrol cars that were chasing him. The officers caught
up to him and he wisely stopped. He was arrested and booked into PC jail.

17-year-old Eatonville boy reported that sometime last month he either lost
or someone stole his cell phone.

juvenile girls were charged with assault. Case to Remann Hall for review and
criminal charging.

50-year-old Roy woman was arrested for shoplifting from a business. The
suspect was observed by employees taking items of baby clothing and placing
them under her clothing. She was stopped as she attempted to leave the
business. She was arrested cited and later released pending a court
appearance.

46-year-old Eatonville man was arrested on a $3,500.00 Pierce County
District Court warrant for his arrested for obstructing a law enforcement
officer. The arresting officer saw the suspect driving in the 100 block of
Washington Ave. The officer knew the suspect from a previous contact. He ran
the suspects name on his in car computer. The records check showed that he
had the warrant for his arrest. The suspect was stopped, arrested and later
transported and booked into PC Jail.

and stole his wallet containing his entire ID.

58-year-old Federal Way man was cited for a violation of the Eatonville
Municipal Code for Nuisance Violations. The suspect owns a piece of property
at 591 Eatonville Highway W. The property has been used as a dumping ground
for old junk cars and other trash. While checking the property for a case
report a stolen truck was found. A search warrant was obtained and along
with the truck a stolen snowmobile was recovered. The owner of the property
has not been located at this time. Investigation continues.

18 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for possession of drug
paraphernalia. He was later involuntarily committed to Good Sam Hospital for
a mental health evaluation after he admitted he a taken a whole box of
medication in order to get high. This same man later committed suicide.

17-year-old high school boy was charged with assaulting another boy.

high school boys ages 14 and 15 were arrested for theft.

29-year-old Eatonville man reported that a man had come to his house while
he was not at home and using a ladder from his garage removed all the apples
from the trees on his property. The suspect has been identified.

August
7 – A
19-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for theft of a vehicle and attempt
felony eluding. A Pierce County
Deputy saw the suspect in the 14400 block of Kapowsin Hwy driving a stolen
vehicle. The suspect quickly speed up to about 80 MPH. An Eatonville Police
Officer backing up the deputy saw the suspect southbound on SR161 and
clocked him at speeds in excess of 100 MPH. The suspect turned onto 400th
St E and later crashed into a tree. The suspect was later found hiding under
some brush a short distance from the car. He was arrested and booked into PC
Jail.
August
7 – Someone
broke two windows at the Eatonville Cooperative Nursery School. No one
working at the Art’s Fest heard or saw anyone in the area.
August
8 – A 39-year-old Tacoma man and his 41-year-old girlfriend were
arrested for possession of a stolen car. The arresting officer saw the
suspect vehicle in the 200 block of Penn Ave. He ran the plates on his in
car computer. The records check showed that the vehicle was reported stolen
out of Tacoma. The vehicle was stopped and the two suspects were arrested.
They said they had bought the vehicle from a 25-year-old Tacoma man who just
so happens is currently in PC jail for $200.00. They were able to produce a
bill of sale for the car. However they admitted that they thought the
vehicle may have been stolen when they bought it. Both suspects were booked
into PC jail.

50-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had hit his car while it
was parked at the Plaza Market. The suspect then left without reporting the
accident.

juvenile boy was charged with unlawful imprisonment after he took a
5-year-old boy and held him against his will for about 30 minutes. Case to
prosecutor at Remann Hall for review.

9 – An
18-year-old Eatonville man was charged with assaulting his parents. As
mandated by law the case will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review and possible
criminal charging.

wallet was found in the Plaza Market parking lot. The owner was located and
the wallet returned.

11 – An
81-year-old Ashford man and a 57-year-old Eatonville man were involved in a
traffic accident at the intersection of Washington Ave and Center St.
The
case is still under investigation.

13 – A
48-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for assaulting his 38-year-old wife.
The two apparently got into a verbal argument when she told her husband that
she was going to be taking Tackwondo lessons so she would be able to protect
herself. They argued for several hours and finally the suspect pushed his
wife on the floor and began to choke her to the point she thought she would
die. She was finally able to fight him off her. When the woman ran outside
to call police he locked the doors and went to bed. The suspect was arrested
and booked into PC jail.
August
13 – A
22-year-old Eatonville woman reported that at about 4:30AM she went to her
living room to sleep on the couch. After getting the couch ready to sleep on
she started to go back down the hall to the bathroom when she saw a man in
her kitchen crouched behind a recliner that separated the living room from
the kitchen. She screamed and yelled to her boyfriend that there was a man
in the house. The suspect jumped off the second story balcony of their
apartment and ran in an unknown direction. The suspect who happened to be a
friend was questioned by police and denied being in the apartment. He later
admitted to the victims that he was in the apartment to steal beer. The
victim’s have decided not to file formal charges against the man at this
time. Case closed
August
13 – A
juvenile boy assaulted another boy over an alleged name calling incident.
The father of the victim later decided not to file formal charges and agreed
to allow the suspects mother take appropriate action to correct her child.

35-year-old Eatonville man reported that his 30-year-old estranged wife had
entered his apartment and had taken their children away from the babysitters
without his permission. The man decided he did not want to press charges
against his wife.

35-year-old Tacoma man was arrested on an escape warrant for his arrest. The
suspect was contacted on the Alder Cut Off Rd at Springwater road after
someone reported he and a woman were involved in a domestic dispute. A
records check showed that the suspect had a warrant out of Pierce County for
escape from community custody. He was arrested and booked into PC jail.
August
16 – A
61-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had broken an upstairs
window to his residence with what appeared to have been a BB or pellet gun.
August

Eatonville officer while on patrol saw a car parked in the 400 block of
Lynch St W. He ran the plates on his in car computer. The records check
showed that the vehicle was reported stolen that day. The car was in the
process of being stripped. Witnesses identified a 22-year-old Tacoma man as
the suspect who had parked the car at the residence and had been stripping
it. A warrant for the arrest of the suspect will be requested. The car was
impounded.
August
18 – Two
girls ages 13 and 14 were arrested for assaulting another 15-year-old girl.
One of the girls reportedly poured a cold soda down the victims back and
when she turned around she was punched in the nose and mouth by the other
girl. The case was sent to Remann Hall for review and criminal charging.
August
21 – A
33-year-old Federal Way man and a 24-year-old man were arrested for
possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arresting
officer stopped the suspects in the 400 block of Center St E for speeding 37
in a posted 25 zone. When the officer approached the driver side window he
immediately smelled the odor of burnt marijuana. The officer said “I smell
it, now give it to me!” The driver hung his head and then reached into the
center console and removed about 4 grams of marijuana and placed it in the
officer’s hand. The driver was arrested and when the passenger admitted he
had smoked a bowl he to was arrested. A search of the vehicle was conducted
and a glass pot pipe was found along with a set of portable scales. A
records check of the driver showed that he had a felony warrant from King
County for possession of dangerous drugs. He was later transported and
booked into PC Jail. The passenger was cited and released. The vehicle was
impounded.
August
22 – A
39-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
The suspect was stopped in the 500 block of Center St E for speeding 36 in a
posted 25 zone. A records check showed that his license was suspended for
DUI after an administrative hearing related to his second DUI. He was cited
and later released.
August
23 – A
52-year-old Roy man was arrested for DUI and was also arrested after a
records check showed he had a $3,500.00 warrant for his arrest for DUI. The
arresting officer saw the vehicle in 500 block of Center St E driving with
its headlight off. The officer pulled in behind the suspect and followed him
at 10 MPH in a posted 25 zone. The vehicle was stopped and the driver
contacted. The officer reported that when he contacted the driver he
detected the strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle. The driver
admitted he did not have a license because of a prior DUI charge. The
suspect agreed to take a field sobriety test and failed all tests given. He
was later transported to the police station for a breath test. He refused to
take a breath test and after being cited for DUI he was transported and
booked into PC jail on the warrant.
August
26 – An
18-year-old Puyallup man was arrested for DUI. Two 15-year-old Eatonville
girls were also arrested one for minor in possession/consumption of alcohol
and the other for obstructing a law enforcement officer. The arresting
officer while returning from PC jail pulled in behind a vehicle in the 26000
block of SR7 that was traveling at about 35 to 40 in a posted 55 zone. The
officer saw that the driver was weaving in side his lane and at times was
crossing into the oncoming lane. He stopped the vehicle in the 28800 block
of SR7 and requested a state trooper respond for a possible DUI. None were
available. The suspect was contacted and he appeared to be intoxicated. He
agreed to take a field sobriety test and failed all tests given. One of the
female passengers had been drinking and was arrested for MIP. Another girl
was charged with obstructing after she repeatedly gave the officer false
information. The girls were released to parents. The suspect was taken to
the police station for a breath test. The results were .139 and .142. He was
cited and later released.
August

18-year-old Spanaway man was arrested by a PC Sheriff’s Deputy for DUI.
The suspect was transported to the Eatonville Police Department for a breath
test. The results were .156 and .161. The suspect was then released back to
the sheriff’s deputy.
August
28 – A
41-year-old Eatonville woman reported that a teenage boy had tried to entice
her 3 and 5-year old boys to come outside with a candy bar. The boy fled
when the mother looked out the window. The suspect was contacted by police.
A case has been sent to the prosecutor’s office for review and possible
criminal charging and a copy has been forwarded to CPS.

29 – A
35-year-old Eatonville woman reported that a juvenile boy had violated a
court ordered anti-harassment order when he entered a business where she was
and remained. The boy could not be located. A case was sent to the
prosecutor for review and possible criminal charging.

30 – A
40-year-old Eatonville man was arrested on a $15,000.00 Lewis County felony
warrant for his arrest. The arresting officer while running names of persons
of interest on his in car computer saw that the suspect had a warrant for
his arrest. The suspect was arrested at his residence without incident. He
was transported and booked into PC jail.

20 – A
20-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for felony possession of meth,
possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and assault 4. A
20-year-old homeless man reported that he had been assaulted in the 400
block of Lynch St W. by a friend of his. The victim said the suspect became
mad over a rumor that his brother and girlfriend were having an affair while
he was in Pierce County Jail. The victim said he was slapped in the face
twice causing a bloody lip. The suspect was later arrested in the alley
behind 227 Mashell Ave N. During a search drugs and paraphernalia were found
in his possession. He was later transported and booked into PC Jail.

20 – A
33-year-old Eatonville man who lives in the 100 block of Berggren ST W.
reported that someone had tried to break into his residence. The suspect(s)
pried off all the screens to the windows and broke the glass in the front
door. No entry was gained and nothing appeared to be missing.
July
20 – A
25-year-old Eatonville woman reported that her 28-year-old estranged husband
had taken her drivers license, SSN card and her bank card. The husband was
not at the residence when officers arrived.
July
23 – A
20-year-old Eatonville woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was stalking
her. She said he had been looking in her windows at night and keeping her
under surveillance when she had friends over to visit. The victim said if
this continues she will seek a restraining order.
July
27 – An
18-year-old Graham man was detained for Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputies
on domestic violence related charges. The deputy contacted Eatonville Police
that there was probable cause to arrest the suspect for assaulting his
girlfriend. The suspect was later observed at the Mill Town Chevron. When
contacted the suspect resisted arrest until the officer called for
assistance from a local citizen. The suspect was later turned over to
sheriff’s deputies.
July
26 – A
41-year-old Eatonville woman was charged with violating an anti harassment
order. The suspect was seen walking past the victim’s repeatedly while
they were visiting friends in the Dow Ridge area. The case was sent to the
prosecutor for review and possible criminal charging.
July
27 – Someone
broke into the Big Foot Tavern. After reviewing the video surveillance tape
it showed that at about 3:00AM a single white man entered the back door of
the business after prying it opened. At about 3:10AM the suspect is seen
leaving the business carrying the safe. Pierce County Ident was contacted
and took fingerprints and photos of the crime scene. Investigation
continues.
July
28 – A
38-year-old Tacoma man was charged with following too closely after he
caused a traffic accident in the 42500 block of Alder Cut Off Road. The
victim a 42-year-old Eatonville woman said that the suspect was behind her
and as she was driving he would speed up really fast coming up on her
bumper. He would then back off and do it again. The suspect finally pulled
up real close to her bumper and pulled out to go around her on a curve and
in a no passing zone. Fearing he was going to force her off the road she
braked to allow him to pass. The suspect’s car hit her vehicle. The
suspect continued without stopping. While interviewing the victim the
suspect arrived at the police department. He was cited for being at fault
and released.
July
29 – A
28-year-old Ashford woman was charged with check forgery and theft after she
cashed a stolen check at Kirk’s Pharmacy. The suspect later stole a check
from her mother and cashed it at the Ashford Valley Grocery. The suspect has
not been located. Both reports were forwarded to the prosecutor for criminal
charging and a warrant issued for her arrest.
July
31 – An
Eatonville man was involuntary committed to Puget Sound Hospital for a
mental evaluation after he threatened suicide.

Police Report (May 1 - 21, 2004)

May 1 – A
67-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone had broken into his storage
unit sometime between 7:30AM and 3:30PM. Approximately $2,000.00 to
$3,000.00 in tools, electric hand tools and a collection of Indian doll were
taken. A video surveillance tape from the Mill Town Chevron shows the
suspect vehicle and one of the suspects as he entered the business. The tape
is being sent to the PC Sheriff’s office where detective will be making
still photos from the video tape.
May 1 – A
23-year-old Sumner woman was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
The suspect was stopped in the 200 block of Washington Ave for speeding 37
mph in a posted 25 mph zone. A records check showed that she had a suspended
license for unpaid tickets. She was arrested, cited and released.
May 2 – A
23-year-old Rainier man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
His 18-year-old passenger was also arrested for allowing her friend to
operate her vehicle knowing that his license was suspended. The arresting
officer saw the suspect’s vehicle in the 100 block of Center St and ran
the plates on his in car computer. The records check showed that the vehicle
should have been brown and white. The officer said he did not see any brown
on the vehicle so he stopped it suspecting it had switched plates. The
vehicle was stopped and the driver contacted. A records check showed that
the driver had a suspended license. He was arrested and admitted the owner
of the car who was his passenger had allowed him to drive knowing he had a
suspended license. The passenger was contacted and admitted she allowed him
to drive. Both were arrested, cited and later released.
May 2 – A
19-year Tacoma woman was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The
suspect was stopped in the 300 block of Center Street for defective break
lights. The driver was contacted and advised the reason for the stop. A
records check showed that her license was suspended for unpaid tickets. She
was arrested, cited and later released.
May 2 – Two
juvenile boys were arrested for vehicle prowl. The arresting officer while
on patrol saw two boys inside a vehicle parked behind the Big Foot Tavern
and two girls standing in the alley watching. The officer stopped the boys
and they denied being inside the vehicle. The owner was contacted and said
he did not see anything missing at this time. Another man who was with the
vehicle owner was contacted and he identified the two boys as kids that had
asked him earlier in the day to teach them how to hot wire and car. He said
a car stereo that was inside a car they were looking at his garage was now
missing. Both suspects were
arrested and booked into PC Jail.
May 5 – A
20-year-old Eatonville man reported that someone during the night had stolen
his baby blue 1990 Nissan pickup truck with a white canopy.
May 6 – A
20-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for driving with a suspended
license. The suspect was stopped for speeding 77mph in a posted 50mph zone
in the 41800 block of SR161. The suspect was stopped and a records check
showed that his license was suspended for unpaid tickets. He was arrested,
cited and released.
May 6 – A
59-year-old Eatonville woman reported that someone had broken into her
storage unit. The Ohop Valley Storage watchman reported that he had opened
the gate at 7:00AM and noticed a red pickup truck pull in. He said he
thought it odd when this same truck pulled out at 7:17AM fully loaded with
boxes. His description of the truck matched the description of the truck
that had broken into a storage unit at Mill Village on May 1st.
Investigation continues.
May 6 – A
student at the high school reported that someone had taken $110.00 from her
purse in the girl’s locker room.
May 8 – A
23-year-old Eatonville man was arrested for DUI. The arresting officer first
observed the suspect pulling out of the rear parking lot at Thompson’s
Motors onto Washington Ave N making a wide sweeping turn crossing over the
fog line and continued northbound straddling the fog line. The driver turned
onto Lynch Creek Road and stopped in the 200 block. The officer continued on
patrol. A few minutes later the same vehicle passed the officer on
Washington Ave. The officer watched as the driver weaved from the fog line
to the center line. The vehicle was stopped and the driver when contacted
appeared to be intoxicated. The driver volunteered to do a field sobriety
test and failed. He was arrested and transported to the police station for a
breath test. The results of the test were .166 and .172. He was cited and
later released. His vehicle was impounded.
May 8 – A
46-year-old Ashford man was found to be at fault in a two car collision on
Center St in front of the Post Office. The suspect driver when attempting to
turn into the parking lot of the post office failed to yield to another
vehicle was traveling in the opposite direction causing the front of his
vehicle to strike the front of the other car. No one was injured.
May 8 – A
15 –year-old boy reported that three known juveniles had stolen two pieces
of wood from a construction site. The boys were contacted and returned the
two partial pieces of plywood. The case was dropped.
